what happened to "Surman and Lallana off as soon as window opens"
Window Cleaner replied to Ken Tone's topic in The Saints
To be honest Chelsea didn't look a whole lot better than us against Utd. True Utd had more of their "first team" on the pitch against Chelsea but it was a bit of a damp squib all the same. -
No-one will pay 14K a week(or even 10K a week) for an iffy player of his standard any more. He's no longer premiership quality and no-one in the CCC is flush with cash for a risk like Euell nowadays.
-
I think one of the main problems concerning football is that virtually every Premiership and CCC club in the UK has been ripped off in the recent past for vastly overated European 'talent'. Be it on loan or on definitive transfer we have imported tons of rubbish that was no better than our own home grown talent and vastly more expensive. That's fan power for you, always clamouring for new faces, better players....

Just Molyneux and Saejis?? Probably more than Molyneux,James,Saijs,Perry,Schneiderlin and McGoldrick. they really don't earn that much down at SMS nowadays. Wait and see till the half year figures come out

Lets say the average household is by far less exposed to the effects of lack of credit.Credit is far more harshly regulated in France. IN THEORY you can't borrow more than you can afford to repay.France will suffer from the global downturn to be sure but on the whole the average household won't suffer much in the short term.Neither will you run of the mill business. There'll be hard time but not too many house repossessions will occur. We have our idiots as well, it's possible to contourn the credit regulations by outright lying, veilling the truth and falsifying documents but it's not really widespread. I'd say immigration is a by far greater problem than the credit crunch just now.

Adrian, Rasiak and John aren't coming back. Deal with that. They don't want to and we don't want them to (we being the club board)

Euell in play me or I'll leave shocker. No doubt that if we could find a taker he wouldn't be making that cliched filled statement. He wants to leave, we want him to leave so where's the problem?? Oh yeah, no other suckers will pay him 14000£ a week.

Told you so. When you see it from without it's far far worse than what you see from within. Been heading on a downward spiral for about 5 years. Everybody told you all in blighty that endless credit for anything and everything would be your come uppance. looks like they might haver been right. It was obvious to anyone w

a poor man's Schwarzenegger then.Except that I think he was actually pretty good at martial arts. Still Ze Terminator doesn't sound right does it.

no worries, they'll appoint some complete non-entity, they always do, ie Roeder, how that bloke got to manage Newcastle and West Ham is a complete mystery.Norwich are skint, paying off Roeder will probably do for them. Delia ain't that rich.

Thanks, neither do I but I did . Little cul de sac dropping down onto the top of Hum Hole.Just off West End Road, can't remember the name of that either,

Not surprised ; probably far far too many corticoids when he was a young player in Latvia/Russia. Gets players back on their feet in no time. The after affects probably shorten a good number of careers. Ask Jim Steele about cortisone injections.

We cashed in on everything coming to us from the Bale deal, doubt if there's any more to come. same with Jones.
-
True but can't give it much credulity myself. I see you're a Bitterne/West End man as well then. What was the pub that is now (I presume ) The Big Cheese, called in days of yore?? Can't quite remember

but why would Patterson attract premiership sides either? Had a couple of run ons and got sent off, no goals,no assists,no nothing. People do spout crap, probably his mum posting on that rumour page.
-
We only got 4.8 million though.
-
No ; next starter for 10
-
Not this one we couldn't. Played for Weymouth once upon a time or so it would seem. Mind you Andy Townsend came from there and he was pretty useful.
-
Doesn't matter, Gerd Muller was one of the laziest players known to football. Scored 2.80 goals every 3 games though.
-
But that's the difference, when you don't concede you're always in with a chance.
-
Sky had it at 50/50 though.

Soon have to call him McGoalflood
