19/20th January. Is that an international weekend or something?.

They might go into freefall though. If Jewell couldn't do anything with that rabble, then what chance does a pup like Clough Junior have. They'll walk all over him, well we can only hope so anyway.

Greater Manchester is pretty big though.:cool:

Sorry BTF, forgot you are a grandma. I have it on excellent authority(from the annual accounts) that a great percentage of our support are concessionary.
-
Probably scared of 4200 Manchester dockers and shift workers. Will be business as usual with our population of grandmas, student wimps and schoolkids though.

Yes it is. Any part of the arm not in contact with the body constitutes a penalty.Deliberate, not deliberate it's a penalty in theory. Reffed a game once, blew up for one, player said it wasn't and showed me a big muddy stain on the upper arm of his shirt, sent him off for dissent as well cos he got trappy. I was right, referees council said I was when he appealed. Don't know where this short sleeved shirt nonsense comes from really. "Referees look at two specifics - did the hand or arm go towards the ball or in a manner which would block the ball, or is the hand in a position where it would not normally be?" Elleray told BBC Sport. "The challenging decisions are if the defending player spreads their arms to make themselves bigger. "If the ball hits the arm then the referee must decide whether this action was to deliberately block the ball or whether the player has raised their arms to protect themselves - especially if the ball is hit at speed."

He got them from the Lowhaters Guide to fantasy football facts.

But the difference is Southampton has a huge urban catchment area which boosts the UrbPop to over 300,000 whereas I don't think the same applies to Derby. Nottingham is about 20 miles, Sheffield 28, Stoke 30 etc etc. Yet they have a bigger fan base than either Pompey or Ourselves. Hampshire has a population of about 1.7 million,Derbyshire less than half of that. You've just gotta face facts Hampshire people just aren't interested in Football, well not when they have to pay £25 to see it they aren't.

Strange that. It's a smaller city with a lot of other clubs around them.

Probably, didn't they get taken over a couple of years ago? Then they had a year freewheeling in the Prem, taking the cash and not spending much. Also loaned out most of their players to save money for a promotion push this season.

Straight from the horse's ass ??

Wouldn't we all !! Must admit to not understanding anything in Caribbean pirates III though. I preferred her as Lizzy Bennet.

Apparently Dailly doesn't use an agent and negociates his own deals. Cuts out the middle man and a source of leaks.
-
On his OS piece he says he doesn't think anybody else will be leaving It's not quite the same thing is it.

Don't be a **** Benjji, his elbow was a far above his head as it could be without his arm coming off. It was a penalty, a stupid one but a penalty nevertheless.Same as it was a red card. 2 feet off the ground including 1 towards the player=Red Card.
-
Did KD not play him onside by touching the ball. Didn't take much notice, I was fuming about the **** poor marking at the time. I'll have a look on my DVD later on.
-
Looked like a definite red, but so did the foul by Evans on McGoldrick, McG was past him and away on goal. Pity we can't defend on corners. Gillett is garbage.
-
Anyway I'm off to watch France 4,sound off no doubt cos those d*cks know nothing about football. Catch you all later.
-
Must have taken a lot of ouffle dust all that then.
-
Poor side, very takeable, probably not by us though.
-
Surman not got the flu in his broken leg then???
-
And quite rightly so, we are incomparable to Man U. some of their players have dogs who probably cost as much as our whole team.
