Classic, we ain't in it yet we go 1 up. Sounds like Arsenal in their double season in the 70's. Never in it but always won 1-O.
-
Not Gillett, not any way. Even if we're down to 10 men, no Gillett thanks,
-
Why not. Plenty of candidates, most of them just as bad as us. Watford were absolute dump last night apparently.
-
What so outstanding that they lost 4-0 ?? Nobody is outstanding in a losing side, some perform better than others that's all.
-
Well I haven't had time to read through all 148 replies on this thread yet so someone may have already made the same observations;these figures are far less than those usually bandied about, perhaps they're saving the bonuses for tomorrow's edition.

It could well be that we've already hocked JF to someone against borrowing. In fact I'd say that it was highly likely actually. What's the first thing you do when you're playing monopoly and you're skint, yep motgage the Angel Islington, nobody ever lands on it anyway.

He won't play upfront on his own. He'll form a tandem with McG. Think about how a tandem works.
-
£49.9979950 million actually.

You see the thing is the stadium debt is secured against future season ticket sales. It could well be that that guarantee transcends any change of ownership entity. If anything resembling SFC plays professional football it could well be that Aviva gets their pounds of flesh anyway. They're pretty prevoyant at Aviva you know. Worst case scenarios are their second name.

But I'm frequently told he made a lot of goals for John. McG can score, we know that but he needs someone to take the pressure off him. saga holds the ball up well and creates time and space. If he goes straight back in on Saturday we could come out on the plus side of the ledger. It's only Barnsley ffs;););)

I am not at all surprised that so many banks have gone off the rails. If you lend money to people who can't pay it back-well you're heading for trouble ain't you. A former colleague of mine(ex Nat West man) had a little book entitled "How not to Pay your debts". Being a bit extravagant with his pay he always had recourse to it. Worked like a charm. Told by the bank manager to "adjust his balance, he took out a further £10, when the guy screamed and howled at him over the phone,he simply said "well you shouldn't have lent me money in the first place. That stumped them for a month or so.

Well that's what the OS would have you believe anyway. Saga and McG could form a right good partnership.

Could you not change your user name to Legends Wear 7,except Rudi Skacel??

What's the real reason Why J.Cork didn't resign On Loan
Window Cleaner replied to Smalls's topic in The Saints
I expect he's getting fed up with being hawked aroundthe Championship and puts little value on his chances of ever playing for Chelsea on a regular basis. So he's accepted a loan to a club who might just buy him from Chelsea and give him a permanent contract. We probably weren't able to do that(don't think a definite move has ever been on the cards) and Watford see him as a potential long term aquisition, ie wanting him more. -
Whoever offers the creditors the best deal will win the lottery. We owe what about 27 million net, including long term debt on a stadium which cost about 33 million in the first place. Provided you could convince Aviva that your "business plan" would procure them payment on time you can forget that part of the debt. For the rest?? Anyone offering to pay all football debts and about half of the rest would be pretty welcome. I suspect that all the warring parties have their own group of investors lined up in such an eventuality. The losers?? Small tradespeople, HMC+E,the staff who'll be laid off and Barclay's Bank but the latter won't go down without a fight. They'll want everybody who's worth more than a shilling sold to reduce their debt before the administrators do any deal with "consortiums".
-
How much ?? A lot. Look at the bloke who "invested" in Ipswich. 45 million already down the drain, plus whatever they spent last summer.Result they're still mid-table and losing money hand over fist. If you ain't got a billion don't bother to apply. You'll end up with players richer than yourself who'll tell you to f**k off if they don't like what you have to say.

Morgan selected for France Espoirs Training Camp
Window Cleaner replied to Window Cleaner's topic in The Saints
No, there are a lot of L1 players missing because of club games but he still doesn't get the nod. I wonder why. Big disappointment to me is our Romain. Wonder if he's had "attitude problems" again. -
Wotte seemed to be going to great lengths to explain stuff to him. Hopefully that we need some new defenders and a least 1 striker.

Sort of Leaving Las Vegas??[ Don't talk to me about changing money. I changed £300 for an aquaintance last summer and now its only worth about £220.

Except that they are lads, so Espoirs. Espoires would be girls. Les bleuets (or espoirs) is what the French call the U21/U23s
