Great, we won a match, time to crank the old takeover handle a bit.

There seems to be one positive point about Scoobs and Sundance, it seems that it's OK to insult them and not get infraction points. Try telling any other poster to f off, bet you get a few points on the meter.

But the goalkeeper is an integral part of the team. That's why you need a good one and not a pillock like Bart.I watched some of Arsenal Hull yesterday. Myhill won against Arsenal all by himself, true the others scored 2 goals but he saved at least 5 .

Bollo, as an optimist I've the right to get carried away, at least until Tuesday.

Or read the OS from time to time. Works wonders, even if the information is "spun" it gives you some sort of basic idea. You can then put your own slant on it and become a pro or an anti-but an informed one.

Did I, don't remember quite frankly.:smt083:smt083:smt083

Oh right, got the drift,we were supposed to imagine what might have happened if the royal family had sold arms during the last war and equate it to RL trying to cut costs at an ailing football club-yep right got that, will give it my best shot. 30 mile run tomorrow, will try to get my head round it whilst I'm on auto- pilot.

To whom, to, not the Germans ? Anyway Royalty don't actually do anything, except for HRH Princess Elizabeth who repaired trucks. The statements on this thread become more and more obtuse.

Missed out nut and bolt.

The topic was never interesting anyway.

Why not, he's a moron,

Ah she didn't actually speak with me, after my first run in with her she informed my Pa in law (at the next match) that I was a foul and uncouth young man to whom he should not let his daughter become bethrothed. Told you I was a terrace fan (Milton).

She was 75 if she was a day.Be about a 100 now, probably still knitting. Probably thought there were guillotinings at half time.

I've been at the Dell when over 30000 were present. The Dell's capacity was about 30000 thin people or 15000 fat people. To me that is football, have never enjoyed sitting in the stands or anywhere else. I am a terrace fan. My ex Pa in Law lent me his ST in the Upper West a few time, the old bag next to me was actually knitting, didn't pay one Iota of attention to the game, except for ticking off anyone in her earshot (hawkeared) for foul language for a "bugger" or "dam it".

Well yes. The Ipswich guy has been on loan at Brighton a few times, he's sort of a permanent loan I think. It is my opinion (which you are certainly not going to agree with) that we need a really sharp striker. I've no time for Dyer so why not get what we can for him.Brighton seem to be taking a lot of players on loan. If Crouch had appointed Micky Adams instead of Pearson perhaps we'd be getting some of them, right here, right now.I wouldn't want to hasard a guess at whether Lowe would have kept Adams on, but Pearson-tapped up by Milan, probably on serious money we couldn't even think about affording, he has a track record of it does Milan..

Some cannot agree with that, whilst he's trying to play or is caught nicking stuff he is a kint, when we try to get rid of him, he's god (in waiting)
-
Toss a coin?
-
Yes but you have to take that attitude that if he's not good enough for Ipswich he's not good enough for us.There is a difference between the CCC and League 1. I'd rather have young and learning than old and fading.
-
I think you're over evaluating Dyer's worth, perhaps it was us that wanted the other lad and we pawned Dyer to get him.:):)
-
I say perhaps to intimate that these are my personal theories which may or may not be in tune with reality.Perhaps it's as stated, Jan is in charge of football, at least he's seen the lad (and that's reassuring).

Right thanks, it was the "now you've done it again" that threw me, I saw the reference to the old board though. Wasn't there.
