Beginning to be the way of things of late, in place indoctrination of regular('ish) people by false prophets.
-
All religions are just indoctrination of the weak and needy in the main and used as platitudes by most of the rest. I have no religion, I don't do church weddings or funerals and it gets me a fair bit of grief but at least I'm honest.

great headline:

Pity we rested some of them against City then, City weren't great and out First XI (whatever that might be) might have given them a run for their money. Resting players is vastly overated, most of them want to play until they drop.

Please name the player we should have signed to replace Morgan

I think Dembelé played about his average number of games for Spurs last season 25/30 or so. Obviously took a bit of time to adapt to the Pochettino system, normal he's 28 now and it takes a while. -
But you'd agree that crap like Krueger's if you can't get excited about playing in the Europa League you should be organising concerts wasn't the brightest thing to sy, especially considering our ignominios loss in Denmark ? Perhaps we should be organising concerts then. Less I hear from any of them the better I like it, it's always so patronising..

Probably, he seems always pleased just to play, in fact didn't he complain of not playing enough last season? Before he renewed his contract that is. He'll play wherever he's asked and be content to do so, but he's not a left sided player in particular.
-
Everyone knows that I'm not a Koeman fan in particular or a fan of anything Dutch in General. I've never made a secret of it and now some seam stress is beginning to show. Most seem to like him though but they also thought that Adkins was some sort of god.

We are obviously neither masochisitic nor stupid to an unusual degree.

Don't know where this idea that Maya is a left sided player comes from, he replaces which ever CB is missing. When Koeman put Toby into MF last season did Maya not replace him or was it the seemingly useless Gardos? I'm sure that Maya is a right footer and would be more comfortable on that side.

Morgan does play at Utd,Usually 3 on the trot and then one on the bench, Carrick and Basti alternate for the rest. Morgan's grandfather died a while ago so he had a couple of games off for that. -

When he's not injured that is. Think he's managed very few appearances so far this season. -

Injury prone and overpaid. No longer the player he once was. -
Not sure how much difference that would make, I mean he watches the game doesn't he and we have countless people on video analysis. He must see it all and he just seems to let it slide by him, anchored in his seat talking to his brother. Klopp seems to stand for most of the game and is always after his players, for good acts and bad.

When you suffer heavy defeats as our three sides did this week luck does not enter into the equation. It generally means that you are generally not good enough or something is wrong somewhere in the root structure of the club. Hunter was already criticising his players for their standard of play back in August, perhaps it's got better since then but the writing was already on the wall. Why exactly Jaidi seemed to be in charge at Norwich who knows. Now 2 summers back we sacked Dodd and Williams from the U18s and got some other bloke, who'll no doubt excuse me for forgetting his name if I ever knew it, but I'm not sure that the results have got any much better.
-
Why would he do that exactly. Stek is the undisputed number 1 at the club and will no doubt play when fit. Until Forster is fit to return that is of course.
-
Of course, don't know why we didn't, manager should have called someone over and told them to do it.
-
But to be honest Randall is their McCarthy or some other young man from the unders who has the number 44 shirt or similar. He got a game, rocky at first and then grew into it but at least his manager had confidence in him.
-
He wasn't that good at City. They eased up when they went 2 up and then Aguero went off. Bony might be good in the air but on the deck he's a slug compared to the ability of Sturridge when he wants to show it. We weren't good at City in any way, 2 quick goals and it was done and dusted for them.
-
mehmeh then, acoustically exactly the same as the french name for a grandma, or more generally speaking any old lady; Mémé.
-
Only the end of season report will tell us that. For the time being we're lower in the league, out of Europe at the first real hurdle (if even that) and out of the league cup. So really only finishing 7th or higher and getting to perhaps the SF stage of the FA Cup can be considered as having achieved a better performance, whether the squad is better or worse makes very little difference.

Ah yes another thing I wanted to mention about last night. Players need to face the ball at all times when they're trying to close down. Clasie (him again) I think it was rushed forward and turned his back when Moreno was shooting in what I think led up to their 3rd goal. Shot was a daisy cutter so turning his back made no difference at all. If he faces the ball and sticks out a boot or something the ball might have gone wide or been blocked before it got anywhere near being dangerous. Don't they coach that in the UK? Never turn your back on an opponent.

Not unusual, we have a place on the coast near Sete and the various dutch families who rent the house next door all bring fritsaus, krokets and frikandels with them to eat rather than good old french stuff. They gang together with other dutch families and eat their crap and make themselves generally unpopular. Still it's a free world...apparently. Probably no worse than the English with their bacon and beans for breakfast on Greek Islands.

At least there's consistency throughout the club then, the epitomy of the "Southampton Way" All the teams playing the same system and losing by similar margins.
