  1. Whereas in fact perceived availabilty is important. If many think that there are a lot of refreshment outlets in the stadium then they are more likely to try to avail themselves of said outlets. If the general idea is that there aren't enough then some will automatically desist, fearing long waits and surly vendors. Seen this type of study before. Usually gambling (or drug) related.
  2. Who knows, perhaps it's for a study on the perceived availabilty of refreshments at various PL football stadiums.
  3. As Memphis Depay has proved, speed isn't enough in the PL, you need speed and a bit of guile. M.U will probably try to buy that bloke from Swansea or Bolasie.
  4. What can you expect from Skatesmouth Tech really. What worries me is that the bloke might actually be 24 yrs old and is still on a degree programme which allows football ticketing price as a dissertation subject and the government are milking him serious swans to do it.
  5. So he bumps his original thread.
  6. So he asks just the once and waits to see what happens, he doesn't,as a guest on this forum, spam us by starting the same thread time after time. In fact we need more control over who starts threads and who doesn't. As it stands we have every Tom,**** and Harry under the sun coming here and posting at will. 3 posts a day for non-members but as many repetitive threads as you like. Go figure.
  7. Chelsea do this to control the market...it's not new, Everton amongst others were doing it back in the 70s. You might not want the players in question but as you seem to have unlimited funds you can certainly make sure that they don't play against you for a time at worst and at best you make a profit on them. Now Utd desperately need a winger, they wanted Pedro I think, fortunately for them Chelsea bought him first.
  8. don't give up easily do you. We all saw the last thread, I presume not many were interested in replying. Unsurprising as we seem to get about 5 or 6 football related, worthless degree questionnaires every year. NB Hint, start again and do not mention...well you know..Port..............
  9. Based on the original research at Louisiana State or something more specific ?
  10. Really ? I'd have thought that the fact that one manufacturer dominates the sport entirely is what takes away the excitement. Just now you know that the races will be dominated by Hamilton and Rosberg and that the others won't get a look in unless there is some sort of race incident. It's a borefest, the circuits just don't make a lot of difference unless they're of the "street" variety.
  11. Suspicious...probably, song would be banned as lkely as not nowadays with all that talk of "big ships" sailing up "Ally Ally Oos" on last days of September.
  12. Perhaps it's based on the ancient primary school girl's skipping mantra. Mind you the under 50s will probably have not ever seen the deplorable spectacle of under 10s group skipping in playgrounds.
  13. Uhoh...what bad news is in the offing today then?
  14. Probably because of what military satellites that "don't exist" actually see.
  15. Well we did go to pieces a bit in the second half, some seemed to give the impression that the job was done and dusted and no further effort was required. Probably those that had played Wednesday and Sunday...whereas Mané...well he had an enforced rest on Wednesday didn't he.
  16. Dental assessment is a standard for entry into elite sporting programmes in most countries, perhaps the UK is an exception. Bad teeth can cause tendinitis amongst other things.
  17. Thought he did well yesterday, looked solid when quite a few had gone awol in the second half, kept the side together. Unfortunate sending off of course but that happens to DMs from time to time.
  18. Something stupid like putting the tractor there in the first place with cars still running and no safety car...
  19. which cover basically two separate events.
  20. There were also a fair few fatal accidents...something that has now been quasi-eliminated in Formula 1 processions. Only happens now when someone does something really stupid.
  21. If they still had a real striker like Suarez they'd be a very good side. Move the ball about nicely but nothing very potent at the sharp end.
  22. Turn the sound down, watch the game, just like you would at SMS. In fact I've seen games on BeIn with no commentary at all, usually far better than having some idiot giving you his opinion on how football isn't the same as it was in the 80s.
  23. No, it's on BeIn Max 5 as well..there will be streams, ART put them up at about midday.
  24. Possibly...but after the game sells out would it not be possible to extend the already programmed elsewhere emission to some accessible on-line channel or other ? As I said earlier BeIn are broadcasting all 4 C1C games tonight on the other side of the channel so the logistics are all in place already.
  25. They're showing all of the C1C games, part of their aggressive plan to take over the world I guess. Can't really grumble, it costs about 8 £ a month and there's a bit more content every month. Do BeIn not do the UK ? Edit: You can watch on line if you can access BeIn connect but for that you have to sign up for 13 euros. Whether that's global access or restricted to France I just don't know.
