  1. cos Ralphy says it hasn't happened that's why, get caught with your trousers down once...well it's only good old Rickie, who'd deny him a last fling at his boyhood club...we're the good guys remember.Get caught veiling the truth over Lallana a few hours later...well people have been hung, drawn and quartered for less.
  2. can't be right though can it, we haven't consulted the new manager about it yet, he might put his veto on it..
  3. and they would say "f*ck off Bearsy, we're doing things the Southampton way here"
  4. obviously, he didn't jack it in at Bâle just in case Mauricio resigned, Koeman will be next, either retained at Rotterdam or Malaga.
  5. Who cares about buying a replacement, we're the academy to end all academies remember,we've spent enough money on it. All those stars just waiting for their chance, no point in holding them back to let dinosaurs play every week. What does it matter if your ass gets kicked every game as long as you're populating the England Unders sides at every level.
  6. unkind, he's probably had enquiries from the agents of every sacked manager, about to be sacked manager or left his club because of limited transfer budget manager in the whole wide world. A little lesson for you all, Ajaccio last summer appointed that Italian bloke with silver hair, Ravenelli that's the fella's name, a complete non-entity as a manager, he was going to take them to the next level, sacked after about 6 weeks i think, but they did get to the next level...downwards.
  7. We did warn you, Saints fans seem to have acquired a reputation for being amongst the world's most gullible. Mike Wilde check,Paul Allen check, Tommac check, Pinnacle check, Fialka check, Krueger check... Anyway what's up with Shaw today.
  8. Osvaldo isn't the italy number 9, he's not even in their 30, Mayuka is awful....but Billy Sharp woooah.
  9. Not his record in Spain it wouldn't be, Dutch football is poor, no great relevance to the PL.
  10. not at all, the club isn't all about football, I'm sure that RK said he was here to boost the commercial side of things, well perhaps he has, who knows how much Veho are giving us and how much more we'll make by ditching Adidas.
  11. yes I know the work....sat through endless amateur productions of the affair. Still prefer Bishop.
  12. Oscar Wilde ? I was thinking more Elizabeth Bishop actually. The art of losing isn't hard to master ... Lose something every day etc.
  13. So can we now say that our transfer dealings blow goats and our manager retention blows goats ? Been discussed before, according to the Ice Hockey experts he didn't have a very good team and his sacking was unlucky or something, there were people making excuses for him from day 1 (or 2). He's a motivator, not a doer.
  14. but they can't can they, that would be directly contrary to the terms and conditions set out by Krueger on Wednesday, that would be suiting the player rather than the club, it would be dealing on Liverpool's terms (ie before the WC or never) and not ours. The whole affair is just so contrary to conditions the krueger set out only the day before, it just makes no sense whatsoever.
  15. Sharp, Osvaldo, Mayuka what's not to like.............no point is wasting good money when you have such prolific PL goalscorers as those 3 at your disposition.
  16. Don't see why we can't get Javier Aguirre, he's left Espanyol and must be perfectly aquainted with following on from Mauricio. Seamless or what..
  17. I may well be wrong here but has Krueger ever lead anything really. He's a motivational speaker and ice hockey consultant, he talks, inspires but does he lead. In his one season as head coach of the Oilers I believe he actually got sacked at the end. For me he talks a good campaign, whether he is capable of actually leading one I'm still awaiting proof.
  18. indeed, that's what we paid for Mayuka.
  19. Probate probably. Something happened on or around the 23rd October of last year, until that day Cortese ran everything, lock stock and football club, on that date he was removed from everything ML ever owned except SFC, he probably gave his notice in then as well, 3 months taking him up to mid-Jan. I put to you that KL assumed full power over the empire on or around that day, having previously been sidelined whilst probate was resolved. It could well be that up until that day she had no power of intervention whatsoever.
  20. Getting much over 100 million for the club bearing in mind that there are debts to be taken on as well wouldn't be easy. Selling the players first and then the club for a far lesser amount and taking on the debt would appear easier. Brought this point up a couple of weeks back, as it stands the club's current liabilities probably exceed it's market value.
  21. It's good move for him, nothing against that, fee none too high but hey he's 32. Problem for me is that it's contrary to things Krueger said on Wednesday, we were obviously not in control and the incoming manager obviously wasn't consulted.
  22. But they've been silly boys right ? Or perhaps not, just got a tame journo to tweet that anyway.
  23. Cheer up, we have whatever we need in the academy, did Mauricio not tell us that last january ? Obviously he'd been told to say that and was at disaccordance with it.
  24. Err wait up, didn't someone recently assure me that she 'loves it here" and has every intention on furthering her late father's project. Now whether that was some over enthusiastic Happy Clapper or or make claims you can't possibly keep Ralph, I've no idea. Me? I nailed my colours to the mast last January, if she has neither the will nor the wherewithal to take us to the next stage then she should sell us to someone who does, because Championship and League 1 don't really interest me on a purely footballing basis..
  25. probably won't be after the first game of the season though.
