We might even do well to finish top half actually, too many players look sh@gged out or half fit. Several just waiting for their summer moves perhaps, deals are already being done for the summer, whether we're doing that yet though I just couldn't say. Imagine how shame making it will be if West Ham finish above us.
-
Depends if Wanyama is fit though doesn't it, wasn't last week, reaction to his earlier injury apparently. Think he might have lost interest in us myself, only an opinion though.

I think you have to inform your insurance company at about the time of the accident(reasonable delay, varies though) that you've had a bump but that no claim should arise from it because the matter has been settled otherwise. If you did that then you should have no problem, if you didn't I've no idea where you stand.

Is Katarina becoming a football fan ?
Window Cleaner replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
Which Liebherrs ? I hope she's taxing her uncles, aunts and cousins for some of that newly created moolah then. You'd think they could bung us a few million £ in shirt sponsorship in that case wouldn't you. One branch of the family buys the club another gets most of the profit..doesn't seem right really. -
If you judged it on Saturday's performances then they'd probably be right actually. Pity England announce their squad so late, Thursday for the following Wednesday seems very tardy to me, not that the players don't already know of course. Still got a feeling that WC hopes are adversely affecting our performances, some trying too hard, some easing up so as not to get injured.

Don't know, Lewington was at the Boleyn last Saturday, squad for the next week is already picked anyway. Chambers is only in the U19s and we need to stop dreaming about Clyne, he's not even first choice at Saints any more. The 4 last mentioned Liverpool lads are on the plane already.

Chambers, Targett, Reed and Gallagher named in England U19 squad
Window Cleaner replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Especially as he's over 19 now although the age rules in football always refer to the start of the current season or competition. Perhaps he's just there to aid others with his experience. We'll see who plays for the U21s. -
Bad news then, another cup casualty ?

You'd think Chambers would be disappointed by that wouldn't you, I mean that's no progression at all, U21s would surely have been his goal for this season, especially as they only have a game against Wales next week. -
One things for sure, if we are as wasteful in front of goal as we have been of late we won't win. Really, really needs to be sorted out, don't ask me how though. Our midfielders keep trying to thread the ball through to our attackers who then either miss, lose the ball or are offside, they might as well shoot from 20 yds, who knows we might get some deflections. One free kick goal from our strikers in 4 games isn't enough, in fact it's lamentably bad. Lallana, JRod and Lambert certainly wouldn't have done themselves any favours with Lewington who was there to watch them on Saturday.

Is that obligatory now then, right: Sent from my home built from odds and sods I've found in labs PC with a 1992 AZERTY IBM jelly bag keyboard that's sometimes a bit sticky, how's that.

Anyway there's a special thread for the GSR on the General Sports page.

Pochettino would "jump at the chance to manage PSG"

Aigburth Skate and Aberdeen Angus..... -
Don't know why people insist on dropping Lambert from their projected sides, it isn't going to happen, needs to happen though but it won't.

Pochettino would "jump at the chance to manage PSG"
Window Cleaner replied to FleetCasual's topic in The Saints
you can nver tell with them, Blanc was about their 54th choice, anyway with the side they have a 4 year old could manage them successfully. -
What do Juventus care though, cheap loan, possibly even aided by the Italian Federation, they can alway use him for the peripheral competitions like the Europa League . We have done ourselves a vast disservice by falling for his antics. If we had held our nerve he would have buckled down just for the sake of the WC.
-
The world cup squad is just the problem, they all have world cup itis. The WC always peturbs a lot of players, especially peripheral candidates.

Would You Care If Pochettino Left Tommorow?
Window Cleaner replied to Pastor Patrón's topic in The Saints
Still can't understand why some think that the fact that he's not in contract negociations is a big deal. His current contract takes him up until June 2015 so what's the rush. Who do you think would be negociating with him, the owner ? yes, she looked really interested in the game this afternoon. When we get a CEO then things might move on a bit, for the time being everything is vague. -
I don't know, other clubs seem to manage to handle training ground bust ups fairly well, I mean they're a more common occurence than you'd think. Bit of a fine, bang heads together but you just don't ship the culprit out for nothing and cut off your nose to spite your face. I mean there's no guarantee that Juventus will buy him so then the problem would have just been put in abeyance for a while.
-
We couldn't do that though could we, the owner had talked us into a corner.
-
We don't need a plan B, we need to convert some of the chances we create with Plan A, it's often the same story these days. We need a striker who is better than Lambert, that is our problem. We had one but we gave him away for the rest of the season.
-
Anyway Adam didn't need to pull the West Ham player back by his shorts, Gaston had already picked up the ball and it was a silly thing to do, stopped us moving forward.
-
Poor finishing, poor defending, other than that we were fairly marvellous. Thought the 2 full backs had very poor defensive games. Too many already planning their world cup campaigns I think. Blue line and so on to next week.
-
I hope Arsenal don't let you down then, can't ever trust them when things start to go wrong. Ozîl out of form or burnt out by the intensity of PL football, Giroud with his BJ problems, porous midfield, wouldn't put them down as a win banker, not against Sunderland.

Well apparently it's situated on (or near) the site of the old Boleyn Castle, named as such because Anne Boleyn hung out there sometimes. I thought it was a sponsors name, I was wrong.
