  1. Belfodil I expect, dual national, doesn't need a WP and Inter won't mind being shot of him for a while. Someone who claims to know him told me he was going for the medical at West Ham today.
  2. If Lescott wanted to be "cover" he wouldn't be looking for a move from City would he. I suppose we could pair him with Dejan and make Fonte the "cover" though. City are still in 4 competitions so I'd think they'd still need all of their players for a while.
  3. so you think West Ham will sign Lambert then, plus the possibility of Traoré and Belfodil on loans, my they do like to have a stock of strikers there don't they. Trouble is most of them are never fit and they don't play, just get paid.
  4. hasn't he been at QPR for a while now ? Perhaps it was a short tem contract followed by another contract.
  5. Arren't West Ham supposed to be signing Belfodil on loan in the very near future, can't see what they want with Lambert anyway. Agent bolloaks is all it is.
  6. Don't think Window Cleaner even existed in the Burley era, and he hasn't had any previous incarnations.
  7. Why? Burley got a plumb job as Scotland manager, they even gave us money for letting them take him off our hands. Pretty handy really because he was a sh!te manager who should have lasted about 2 games.
  8. depends how much Yeovil want the money, they have a say in it as well. Isn't there something like a 15£ minimum for the 4th round.
  9. isn't he out on loan at Coventry, perhaps that was just a temporary thing though.
  10. don't even know if he's fit to play, hasn't played for Inter for ages.
  11. They didn't want to win so lack of effort is totally comprehensible. They have all the games they need coming up and a lot of injuries and suspensions...just let it go at that. Villa's boss also said it was a game they could do without and surprise surprise they got knocked out as well. It's up to each club to decide their priorities and pursue them as they see fit. It's just not our problem.
  12. Did he still have his walking boot though, that's the question. Until he can walk and run without it he's still a long way off. Good to see him in some core training though.
  13. All sounds like bog standard tactics from "The International Player's Guide To Getting More Money" to me. Can't see anyone paying him 65 or 70K a week and certainly not West Ham. I suppose if he was available for them in the C1C semis it might seem a good idea to someone in that cowboy outfit but that's next week. I'd have thought their priority would be defenders though.
  14. If he was anywhere near fitness then you'd presume you'd catch a glimpse of him somewhere in one of the build up galleries or videos. No sign of him anywhere so I'd say at least another 3 weeks to a month. A chipped bone isn't banal really, not for a professional footballer.
  15. why not, in all honesty having no-one and using make shift solution just could not be much worse. Don't doubt that he's played his last game for us.
  16. I couldn't really say it's the Cup, City have a heavy looking fixture list though but I'm sure that they'll want to get to the C1C final. Think they might ditch the FA Cup though if Blackburn take it seriously enough. West Ham's problem is similar to ours, they've lost their best player and one of the PLs best defenders for a long while and their results have dipped badly since then. They were never that good this season but since Reid's been out it's all gone tits up for them. Nolan getting suspended really doesn't help either and now he's out for another 4 (3 after today) so at least the 2 CIC games will help pay off that suspension.
  17. Irrelevant to Lambert going there perhaps, then again I don't really accord much importance to that anyway. The point discussed is that Allardyce might not still be there to sign him because of the defeat today. Did Lambert play for us in the C1C at all, expect he did.
  18. clyne left, chambers right...or we might even get a new player who knows. Fox is rubbish and adds less than any other option that we could invent.
  19. With The Arse on Tuesday afterwards...doubt it.
  20. since there are a lot of our cast offs there that will do nicely
  21. really couldn't say but they're obviously privileging the League Cup over the FA Cup, you only have to look at their side today to know that, some of these lads seems to be the reserve reserves, never even played in the PL, others have 1 sub appearance. West Ham have a lot of injuries and Nolan keeps getting suspended..cos he's an idiot.
  22. much too difficult if we want to progress without taxing our players too much, we need crap and at home.
  23. 2 legged game and City don't travel very well, they've also got an unwanted FA Cup replay to fit in somewhere in between. West Ham have obviously assessed the facts and played a really awful side, not that they're usually much good anyway.
  24. not with the side they've put out, looks like their U21s or something, never heard of most of their players. They're in with a chance of a Wembley final and maybe even an Europa League place so they're not going to throw that away for the FA Cup.
