He's also 23 and has played a lot of games. If he's going to be a "top striker" he needs to get on with it a bit.

Game is tomorrow isn't it, so Sunday to Wednesday should cause no problem to fit young men. -
Gomes should have been sent off on Sunday. Ref was visually challenged obviously.
-
Anywhere away from their crap fans is a step up, probably even Tranmere or Sholing. They seem to turn on their players for nothing at all. Morgan has had some difficult times in his personal life these last couple of years and probably can't wait to get away from Everton. Look at Gueye, hot property this window but half of the Everton fans are convinced he can't pass for toffee..Yet Gomes who looks like a total nasty piece of work seems to be a folk hero at Goodison.
-
But do you need to like them? It's what they offer on the pitch on match days that counts. I'm sure that there are some really nice blokes who are shîte at football.
-
From the thread, perhaps not, but from the mess itself we've learnt that public consultations over anything really, really important are unwise. Especially if those originating them then pîss off the instant that said consultations don't go as expected.
-
Doesn't seem weird to me at all. Everton need a RB, Silva likes Portophones and our manager doesn't seem overly keen on Cedric.
-
In our day and age average is exactly what you get for 19 million. You want class? It's 40 million and upwards.
-
It's just how top flight football is nowadays. Saints are not alone in this situation.

Well he must be bad if he's not above Winks in their pecking order. -
Unsurprising. They live in the shadow of Liverpool FC and have done for about 30 odd years. Leicester were pretty poor and yet Everton with their 200 million £ side couldn't beat them. They need to ditch Silva, he's just a smoke and mirrors man. Filled the side with Portophones, unsuited to PL football.
-
Time will tell. Ralph isn't the first manager to come into the PL and try to turn everything arse over tit, results have been variable.
-
Well of course it is. There was no reason whatsover for him to put in that 2 footed tackle at the 85th minute. He lost it, just being a bad loser I expect. Perhaps he thinks fans appreciate that sort of stuff, been watching Jimmy Case videos I expect.
-
So he didn't put in the cross for Austin to head in that got just tipped out by Emerson then? Just after the half hour IIRC. JWP put in some really good defensive work, cleared one off the line as well.
-
Well that was puerile then wasn't it. Like they care.
-
We have had some **** deflections over the past few weeks costing us goals.. Wish i'd said that skints, oh wait I did. Forum bug.
-
And don't forget he also scored a goal! Can't really blame him for that deflection. He put in some pretty good interventions in our own area.
-
No doubt, we do seem to spend a lot of money on shiny new objects which are of no more use than the rusty old objects we have in the cupboard under the stairs.
-
Thing is, we seem to be perpetually clearing players out and getting new players in. Results don't seem to get any much better though. We spent what, about 80 million last summer, 100 million if you factor in Ings. Are we any better than this time last year? It's doubtful really. Puel got better results with lesser players.
-
He'd be right at the bottom of their list. Doucouré is at the top with Gueye. About 5 pages later Lemina might be there with cheap and a question mark!!
-
Optimistic. Chelsea won't be at 9 and a half men like City were today. Watched them against the abysmal Palace, just an afternoon off for them.
-
And yet JWP was our best defender..
-
But Liverpool were in neutral yesterday, still won by a shedload though. Guardiola will have to solve his left back problem sharpish or the Scousers will take them apart down that side.
-
Why so ? They win their games and I'd doubt that City's performance today would trouble them overmuch anyway. City still have no left back whatever side we put out today.
