but I think transfers have to pass through the federations involved anyway. In continental Europe the transfer window runs from 11th June until 2 September. Of course agreements can be reached and publicised but they don't become official until the federations rubber stamp them.

why are we in the money ? Shaw has no full professional contract with us and in theory could move to Man U at will and leave us with just whatever the tribunal decide he's worth. As he's had a few injuries and pulled out of the U21s two or three times the tribunal settlement might not be as elevated as we think.

Would explain him pulling out of the U21s on several occasions though, isn't that one of the first things you learn to do at Man U ?
