  1. don't think there will be too much to be done anyway and as Mauricio seems to have identified his targets perhaps we can be hopeful that the "transfer committee" is a thing of the past and that the job will be got on with asap. Expect just 2 or 3 myself and a lot of outs if we can find any takers of course..
  2. there's an E-Mail address for the ticket office, they usually come through alright... You could always try this young lady, always helped me in the past. clewis@saintsfc.co.uk
  3. mack rill doesn't count, anything we do or don't do disappoints him, although in this case he was just hoping that Nicola would donate a tenner to PFC in a fit of pique and 110 is a troll.. For the rest well I see a lot of the old Lawrie/Crouch/Lowe/Fan on the Board/Wish we knew more about what's going on/ brigade in there.
  4. Depends what cards Nicola had in his hand though, we still don't know if he has a trump card like " It's what your Dad wanted, here it is written on a a bit of paper"
  5. Cortese wasn't in Zurich on Tuesday evening though was he. Perhaps he has a private jet now.
  6. Newcastle have had a lot of bad injuries this season and as I said at the time some of the French lads that they bought aren't great shakes or very consistent.
  7. Top 4 is what ......70 points so (assuming we beat Stoke) we'd need another 27 next season. There are a few results that we could obviously better from this season. Wigan Home,QPR home,Sunderland home all +3 so that's 9 Fulham home,Norwich home,Swansea home, all +2 so that's 6 more so we'd need another 12 points, need to get them from teams like West Brom where we got nothing, West Ham where we only got 1 and at least something from teams like Spurs. so getting 70 points isn't unthinkable but we do need to be able to score where we haven't this year...
  8. so at last we know who actually owns the club.
  9. don't they need to qualify first ?
  10. however he may reconsider his position if the fans don't stay in their f*cking seats.
  11. would go down alright around here, they eat that sort of stuff. Think they even eat pig's balls as well. They do like a bit of pig do the Auvergnats..
  12. just a few examples here, you could find a whole lot more, whether the players pay up to avoid prosecution i couldn't say but there are so many accusations that lead to nothing. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-202766/Football-stars-named-hotel-rape-case.html http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11670_2368509,00.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/london/4468628.stm http://football.thestar.com.my/2012/10/06/cleared-of-rape-allegations-brandao-lifts-st-etienne/ http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/Plymouth-Argyle-player-Liam-Head-cleared-rape/story-18468715-detail/story.html#axzz2TYi04F2T http://www.standard.co.uk/news/morris-rape-charge-dropped-7236304.html
  13. perhaps they don't have the right to do that, last wishes are last wishes and must be adhered to.Maybe they can just limit funding and hope he buggers off by himself. But we don't really know what our status is and why Cortese runs the rest of Empire and not the owners. Doesn't seem as clear cut as it would seem. Once again why is an exiled italian banker still at the helm of Mali Holdings AG and not someone from the family. When someone finds an answer to that then it would be clearer..He was never in charge of Mali when Markus was with us.
  14. don't expect 'The Liebherrs" whoever that might be, read the Sun myself and they certainly don't read this forum. We really have no clue who runs the trust or what it's aims are. As far as I can see there are few commercial entities left in the empire and Cortese seems to have a hand on the tiller of them all.. Everything else has been liquidated why not Saints. My take on it is that Saints can carry on as they are but with no more external funding or guarantee for investment.
  15. yes he does, runs everything that's left which doesn't seem to be a great deal.
  16. in the press yes but as he says in his interview he's had no contact from Deschamps or the Federation. Think he's a bit of a pariah as far as the FFF is concerned. They told him to find a new club when we dropped down to League 1 but he didn't want to do that and he was cast aside. Been called up since then a couple of times for the U23s but for minor games. Anyway Deschamps is a knob who doesn't have a clue what he's doing anyway. Guess we'll just have to wait until he gets sacked or Morgan blacks up and dyes his hair yellow..
  17. probably wouldn't pick them if we did. International selection is a strange affair, selectors have their binkies and keep picking them to the detriment of players perceived as more able. France squad for the South american tour is an absolute joke, even Nasri is in it although nobody knows why.
  18. looks old when compared with the other youngsters doesn't he. Whatever happened to the orange boots a few of them had, didn't last long did they. Played some of our best games with those boots.
  19. or Lallana on the bench and JWP in his place, not sure that JWP is hard enough to play CM against Stoke.
  20. and know what we're talking about...get outta here
  21. I don't know the rates or those of the money men on speed dial, do you ? but I didn't miss the point... Anyway Vibrac seem very popular with PL clubs ,up to 6 apparently mortgaging next years PL income with them. Apparently (well if you believe the press) their rates are actually lower than some of the old loans that theirs are replacing. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2294521/Nick-Harris-West-Ham-mortgage-60m-TV-money-bid-manage-debts.html
  22. well no-one is just going to gift us 3.2 million on the understanding that they may buy us at some time in the vague future. Not everyone is Leon Crouch. I'm more concerned as to why we needed it in the first place oh yes I remember tax reasons...yeah right. Only 1 reason to borrow money...you don't have enough for whatever it is that you need.
  23. looked at the interview, Pochettino doesn't seem to actually say he'd leave. He says he couldn't see any reason to stay if NC has gone. Semantics but it doesn't necessarily mean the same thing.
  24. well they can't just leave, not if they want to continue as professional footballers anyway.
