The Championship Playoffs Thread 2012/2013
Window Cleaner replied to Saint Scott's topic in General Sports
looking awful and winning is sometimes a sign of a very robust side -
And once again our woeful bowling is being spanked all over the place, it is truly abysmal. Should get a draw though thanks to rain yesterday.
-
Watch out for Ginger then. He's been odd since Algy bought the farm.
-
club was aways supposed to be run on a stand alone basis. Perhaps there was a couple of bob thrown in eh.
-
you need to compare results against the same sides but weight them slightly on a home/away basis. Nigel beat Villa twice I think and drew with Fulham twice as well. so we'd have Everton NA lost MP drew Utd both lost Wigan NA lost MP drew Norwich NA drew MP drew Citeh NA lost MP won Liverpool NA lost MP won Newcastle NA won MP lost Chelsea NA drew MP won QPR NA won MP lost Reading both won West Brom both lost Swansea both drew West Ham NA lost MP drew Spurs both lost so NA 11 points MP 17 ....
-
told you so, I'm convinced Markus left the club to Nicola
-
Normal, isn't he supposed to be a scouser (in his fantasy world anyway) Bet they teach should of instead of should have in scouse schools. I mean the teachers probably know (or knew at one time) the correct usage but the pupils have long since worn them down because they all say shuda anyway.

He'll be the one with the Biggles helmet, parachute and goggles.

More likely "Ms Liebherr is currently skiing in Gstaad and will give your query her closest attention upon her return" Had a colleague once, when he came back from leave he trashed all his in-mail. Said if it was important they'd write again.

what is "reported" and what is true are often two completely different things.Adkins liked to play to the audience, a bit of a Thespian methinks, and Nicola can't be bothered with the press anyway.
-
Hard to say indeed, especially when you have absolutely no idea how Adkins was treated and even less idea why.
-
anyway Arsenal won't have the same poor defense that they did last year. Andre Santos at LB and Djourou at CB amongst others. There's a reason why Arsenal shipped those 2 out.
-
Fulham away
-
how would it not be then ? Good job you're not a bookie, well for you anyway. Plus with Martinez probably f*cking off to Everton I can see some right old upheaval at Wigan this week. They will get smashed 3 times.
-
look up Mrs Fonte
-
once again you cannot have Jose Fonte and Michael Essien at the same club, but it' not the sort of thing that FM takes into consideration.

An equal opportunity employer..non-jocks need not apply

busy laundering a big pile of wet pants

no because to get a point at Sunderland we'd need err not to lose..
-
but the goals they'd need to inflict on Villa would take Villa's GD below ours in virtually every scenario. As it stands we'd need to lose by a minimum of 13 goals if Villa were only to lose by 1 each time. 13-0 defeats do not happen
-
probably not no.
-
keeps them all on their toes until the last games, first one to lose misses out on the CL windfall. Still think Spurs will be the first to crack because they have it all to do. Plenty of games that will help us move up the table though.
-
in any case it would be illegal because not all teams have the same path the final. Once again a side without the wherewithal to compete adequately in several competitions will be relegated becaue they did not make PL survival their unique goal.
-
but for QPR to have stayed up it would have needed another side to be on less than 37 points (or have an inferior GD and 37 points) at the end of the season. Which can't now happen. So all in all you couldn't stay up on 37 points. Then again if QPR had got 37 points another side might not have done so, Newcastle or Norwich perhaps, someone that beat QPR.
-
loaned out probably, top half championship perhaps. Needs to play, won't with us unless we're selling and not replacing. Players with class should never be afraid to drop down a level for a year . Morgan is the prime example. Could have got a bench spot somewhere but he wanted to play.
