  1. Kolo Touré all by himself would excuse anyone from not winning the league. Vastly overated lump. There's a lot of other crap in that list as well. Post for Post arsenal are inferior to all of the other top 3 teams. Arsenal's problem is that they don't pay enough and put too much importance on "emerging talent" which usually err fails to emerge. They are however are one of the richest clubs in Europe, only Bayen are richer. They don't pay well and they only buy "middling" players. Anyone with ambition p*sses off as soon as he's offered a couple of quid more. Oh last thing...too many frenchmen who don't come through because the standard of the French league is abysmally low. Anyone with a bit of pace and a bit of bustle can score a shedload in Ligue 1 and then Arsenal sign them.
  2. It's what happens when delta minus semi morons think they can part own a football club for a couple of quid in the hat. Whole shambles just needs shutting down but I guess the administrator is minting it too much for that to happen any time soon. how much parachute payments have the administrator gobbled up so far ?
  3. note the realistic wage level at Oldham....400£ a week. Shows just how basic the level is in League 1.
  4. too many changes. Newcastle's strong point is their midfield, Ramirez,Lallana and JRod have very few defensive abilities, Cork and Morgan would be swamped. I'd just put Shaw in for Fox and leave the rest of the side as it was against Citeh.
  5. well that's not right, doesn't she know anything, red underwear is traditional for for St Valentines. pants and suspender belt are in the wrong order as well. Can go for a p*ss without undoing the suspenders.
  6. Get out of here, that can't be right. We need players that run about more to get better.
  7. Has Ox improved at all since he's been at the Arse ?
  8. The correct answer is : It's local league football with lowly qualified refs and amateur(and usually biased) linesmen. The ref is perfectly right to consult his assistants but as they're usually unqualified and hugely biased the result of the consultations is usually wrong. You just have to suck it up.
  9. Did a tax tribunal not decide recently thar Rangers don't owe all that much tax. HMRC appealing of course but a prima facie their trust scheme was legal.
  10. You have found out that there are a lot of very slutty nuns about.More than you'd think.
  11. didn't Oscar Wilde already tell us that ?
  12. they obviously weren't playing him as a front sweeper.
  13. Sounds like it's going to get nasty then, make sure you get better representation than your soon to be ex. My brother in law and his ex both wanted custody of their daughter, it got really, really unpleasant. The ex got custody but the fall out was so evil that she ended up topping herself.
  14. Right arm perhaps. There's a bit of foootage on Sky where Hooper seems determined to stand next to the goalkeeper to block his path to the ball, Juventus bloke stands between them and then it goes on for about half of a minute and ends up in them both getting a yellow card. Lennon should know that European refs (other than UK) don't tolerate the keepers path being impeded.
  15. I see that Lennon is going to send a DVD to UEFA complaining about grappling at set pieces. Hope he doesn't send this bit because it's pretty obvious that the shirt pulling is mutual
  16. A real bogey player for us is James, always does well against us.
  17. not to mention not signing Brian Howard, Ryan Harley or some ginger haired rat on stilts from Millwall who's name I can't recall. Bestest players in the world, far better than any of ours.
  18. If Papa Waigo had been able to put a simple tap in into the net on 2 occasions we would have beaten them anyway. Still can't see what people saw in Waigo really.
  19. is David Barlow still playing for Manchester City?
  20. Strong side, Gouffran and Debuchy can't play because they've already played in europe for Lille and Bordeaux
  21. ethylene glycol is present in trace quantities in all alcoholic drinks. It's a product of the fermentation process. Even the quantities the Austrians added to turn dry wine into more liquorous stuff weren't toxic unless you were downing 2 bottles a day for a month or so.
  22. TBH I didn't know that Roumania had a beef industry. Since the creation of the EEC there has been meat fraud, same old sides of pig and cow going round and round the community in trucks sucking up subventions. Heard tell of a truck in Poole once that had meat with 4 different country of origin stamps on the same piece of meat.
  23. And so it is whilst they've got parents who feel obliged to sponge it up. That reminds me got to pay to get the youngest's car fixed(again) and for that nose job she got a "student loan" for 2 years ago. No hols for us again this year...drat. :scared:
  24. not with the type of device that they as yet have the ability to produce nor the delivery systems available to them. In fact whilst not being a veritable expert on the subject I'd think many of the 3rd generation enhanced thermobarics, which are more widespread than you'd think, would have a greater effect in a densely populated zone than the very small type of nuclear device tested in NK recently.
  25. for which the academic name is keriorrhea ...useless fact of the day
