And he's still on the bench from time to time, absolutely woeful player, should have been shipped back to Yeovil or Exeter by now. Why we ship out Martin and keep Seaborne just beggars belief. It's either about money or someone's judgement is catastrophically bad. Then again I guess someone may have thought Martin would keep one of the wonder kids off the team sheet.

But what we put on to the pitch was woefully outclassed, I just can't see why so many fail to accept that De Ridder ,Butterfield,Seaborne, Chaplow etc are just very poor footballers. You only had to look at the team sheet to know that the performance would be bad but that's not the question. The question is why we, a Premier League side, have so many poor players on our squad and no real depth.

DD was really positive all summer though, seem to remember him taking me to task because I criticised our transfer dealings.

It's not just Vick it's the useless O line and the awful defence. Vick got severely knocked about last season because of that OLine, think he missed about 3 games and was sore from the first few minutes onwards. He's obviously playing scared and his receivers aren't all that great. The best thing that could happen to the Eagles is Reid getting sacked because he's totally lost it these last 2 years. Takes a decent O Coord and puts him on D and then when it doesn't work out sacks the bloke. He needs to sack himself.
