Ooh err, wish I hadn't looked. I've been hit (amongst others) by Jenny63 and Sharon, neither of them post here. One could be my ex and the other my high school girlfriend. Just knew I shouldn't have bragged about the Bay City Rollers concert and having sh@gged an awful lot of women in my young days. I shall go back to hiding in shadows where I don't belong, no more clues, sorry gals.

If we're only looking at Harry Redknapp and Gordon Strachan we must have tunnel vision. Cortese won't appoint either of them.
-
In fact only Sunderland and Man U have more tackles per game than us and we're pretty low down the fouls/game table as well. http://www.whoscored.com/Regions/252/Tournaments/2/Seasons/3389/Stages/6531/TeamStatistics/England-Premier-League-2012-2013

I played for Southampton Schools in the late 60s, left winger, took a right kicking from Bournemouth Boys at Dean Court, never played against Pompey though.
-
Quite, Man U aren't cloggers but they've still got nearly double our cards. In fact with Morgan on 3 and Jos on 3 as well that leaves just 4 for all of the rest of the players. Given that Clyne got a card for taking his shirt off that leaves just 3 for however many players we've used this season. We do not tackle hard enough and we do not make ourselves unpleasant enough. No doubt there's some sort of fine system for cards in place. 4 yellows for (about) 95 mangames isn't enough.

And lets face it, spending 15 million to get out of League 1 and then the NPC isn't really very economic. Especially when you already had the best striker,2 of the best midfielders and (in theory only) the best goalkeeper.I think the only regular player who came through our youth system during those 2 seasons was AOC and we sold him to the Arse after a few of months.
-
So far 10 yellow and 0 Red cards, we're near the bottom of the league for that. In fact the bottom 3 are amongst the least "naughty" teams . Has behaving themselves been overplayed.
-
leftback told us once I think, changed the flooring or something like that.
-
Rangel must be suspended as well I think.
-
Really, strange that, I remember us winning the odd game or two in the Lowe era, maybe even finishing in the PL top half and getting to a Cup Final. We've done very little to crow about under Cortese given that we have spent more money and racked up more debt than Lowe would ever dream about, apart from SMS that is.

one of the great advantages of beng older...top bands still played Unis and you got to see them all for virtually nowt. With a bit of hitch hiking about a week-ends, staying with your school friends at their Unis you got to see them all . Big blow outs like Bath and the Isle of Wight helped. 40/50 top bands in the space of 3 days for very little money.

As far as I can see at the start of the half Schneiderlin is covering the right side of the defence so Davis should be covering the left. Yet Fox gets stranded with a 2 on 1 in the movement that leads to Odemwingie scoring (good striker, fast and scores a lot from outside the box, always has, hits it hard, keeps it low and gets more deflections than you'd think, take note Mr Lambert) surely Davis should be over there helping out Fox cos Gaston and Adam...well forget it. -
Not really, injury time can be manipulated by substitions and players rolling about on the turf just because they've had a bit of contact. A substitution adds on 30 seconds extra time. 6 subs is 3 minutes.

I've watched it twice and haven't seen Davis do anything whatsoever yet. Third time lucky maybe. In our half we seem to have an effective midfield of one. -
In fact I was pretty chuffed when one of them ran over a granny in his Mustang, meant I would never have to see them again...anywhere. I mean when you've seen The Stones in Hyde Park, done Cream's Last concert, know a couple of lads from Tull, been there done that at the Isle of Wight and Bath...well the Bay City Rollers is just shameful, jeez I must have been smitten, mind you the blow jobs...out of this world.
-
some gig that would have avoided me being dragged to see the Bay City Rollers at the Gaumont, anyone anywhere that would have saved me from that ignominy, think I had to go in disguise in case I saw anyone I knew, ah the crazy things you're prepared to do for women.

Apparently it's got something to do with "playing football the right way" or so Nigel keeps telling me. Now to me playing football the right way means that after 95 minutes you've scored more goals than the opposition or at least an equal number. As my old school motto says (or said when it was a real school) Respice Finem. -
Worked for Chelsea and now it's worked for Celtic. Cassius Clay called it rope a dope

Must be a forgery, the instructions are coded. Something like GHDE56KLPD°°°S3FV21++. Depends what sort of Enigma machine Nigel has.
-
some might say that was a punishment for drunk driving, although with the way we're playing ATM playing 90 minutes every week is more of a punishment.
-
Exactly what I thought. Perhaps Barca getting knobbed by Micky Mouse Celtic has convinced someone that perhaps the Barca way isn't the only way.
-
Although I suspect that with the first team playing on Saturday along with the U18s and the U21s on Monday we just wouldn't have enough players to go round if we lose 3 U21s for an England friendly on Tuesday.
-
what giving him another 3 weeks ? you are not wrong.
-
We're probably concentrating on winning the PL U21 league or something. Is there a trophy for that? They have a game on Monday don't they?

He doesn't want to play wide, he's a number 10, why pay 15 million € for a number 10 and then try to play him wide, horses for courses. At best we need to go 4-4-1-1 with Lallana as the unique wide man aided and abetted by one of the CMs. Morgan looked very handy going down the right against Fulham actually, good speed, good running off the ball and good crossing. Pity Lambert whacked them all over the bar or wide.
