quite a lot, against League 1 defences and keepers, don't think he scored any at all in the NPC last season either, maybe one deflected if any. His free kicks look dangerous but they're pretty predictable without much movement in the air.

I noticed that when Adam is chasing back he tends to run a parallel trajectory to the attacker instead of an interception route.Perhaps that's what he's been coached to do but it puts very little direct pressure on the attacker and as long as he's fairly accurate with his final pass Adam's 30 yard dash is always going to have no effect whatsover.

Fair enough but I suspect that if we were a little more open about injuries some of the manager's strange looking decisions might well be more comprehensible...ie Gazza, reckon he's injured myself.

it's a known fact at SFC that the less you play the better you get until you actually play and everyone remembers exactly why you weren't playing. Right now our best players are Cork,Ramirez and Shaw.

Well yes they are but they're obviously being held back for the League Cup game because as we we know Nigel doesn't believe in rushing players back to the first team. Now Lee there's a dilema, if we'd played him at the start of the season he's probably have been in the Japan squad and wouldn't have been swanning about the south of France looking for stupid things to do. As for Cork, well if the Manager/Chairman had stripped me of my number 8 shirt I'd take my time getting fit as well.

Getting rid of Adkins may get rid of this devotion to gung ho line-ups. It's JRod or SRL not both. If you want to play 4-4-1-1 it's Lallana behind either JRod or SRL.

really needed to change the manager at the International Break. Adkins just doesn't have the skills to make anything of the hand he's been given. Plus he keeps playing JRod, when you've f*cked up you just have to admit it and cut your losses .
