Stadium looked half empty,especially the Kingsland centre.The section allotted to Boro as well.

What?? For our first goal Guly was just wandering about in acres of space,completely unmarked. Sometimes I wonder if you can actually see what happens from the stands at SMS. If we had conceded that goal there would be much lynching going on right now.

But all 3 sides who were eventually promoted were in the top 5. Forest came from mid-table to replace Coventry but apart from that 5 of the 6 top sides were already in place. Most encouraging.

9 more years at 30 games a year still won't put him at 400. In today's competitve environment with biggish squads,international breaks and Tuesday/Saturday sequences because of them 400 games is a good whack at any age.

QPR then got 1 point from their 14th game and Cardiff went ahead by getting 3,so we're at equality with QPR from last season.

They've every reason to be depressed,they won't get out of the NPC with that side or that system of play.I thought Derby were far,far better than Boro were today.If Boro make the play-offs this season they'll have done well,there's no engine room in that team.

I don't know whether it's about realising whether we're good or not. Today we had a new look system on display,aided by the return of Lallana. Some of us were discussing this yesterday,moving Guly into the hole (or just plain up front) and giving his wide role to Chaplow. Few thought NA would go that way today but he did and it turned up trumps,mind you Rickie had a great game and Boro were pretty crap.

No I watched the game...they really were devoid of any idea apart from hoofing.Very poor midfield,nothing wide. Awful keeper as well, forgot that.

Should be able to knock 3 minutes off of a training time in competition, depends on the crowding in the first mile or so.Presume it's chip timing so that's useful,perhaps there are finishing time blocks at the start as well but as these aren't very disciplined as a rule it sometimes hinders more than helps. Think L'Equipe TV is free on the old TNT nowadays as well, I look in on the satellite because we're in a very mountainous area where the TNT doesn't come up too strongly but I'm sure someone told me about the TNT. Good to see that Saint's are turning up regularly on L'Equipe, don't know how much of an audience they get though. I suppose it's live football for those who don't subscribe to Canal+ though, don't think there is any (except La Coupe de Ligue) on free tv in France nowadays.Ligue 2 is on Eurosport but it's ferkin awful.Watched Bastia-Monaco the other day, I've seen better on the Common.

What's stupid about it? Sven got 13 months or so,did OK last season with the side he inherited and less well this season with a side that cost a fortune. Shows some lack of judgement over players don't you think.Paying £5 million for Matt Mills was just crass stupidity.
