The Lions will beat the Packers on Thanksgiving. Mark my words. -
I thought Saints didn't "do" credit.

Apparently opened talks over permanant Hooiveld deal

I'd be more worried about Fonte than about Jos in the Premier League to be honest. Jos looks good in the tackle and very useful in the air, Fonte looks like something out of some wrestling bout most of the time of late. -
Brighton is 60 odd miles away so they're no more a "derby" than Reading or Crystal Palace.Plus I think there needs to be some sort of similarity between the citys as well. Brighton is a Georgian watering hole,Southampton was a centre of industry(for those who don't remember the times when we had factories and shipyards).

Strasbourg went bust so some of the add ons may have fallen by the wayside.

Dickson's tribunal fee was 125K plus some powder puff add ons.

People do that, just as you get silly slags like the plaintiff everywhere.

Add to this; France: Within reason you can knock the sum you spend travelling to work every day (they don't even ask at less than 80 kmround trip per day) off of your imposable revenue (gross-NHS deductions which are hefty). You don't have to explain why you have a BMW instead of a 2CV. So if you live 40km from your work because it's nicer or cheaper that means you can take off 80x235x0.500 (depends on fiscal rating of car) =9400 euros, you can then knock off another 235x4 euros for lunches taken outside your home because you have an inalienable right to home comforts or equivalent. So before you start any other deductions (like money given to children for subsistence allowance) you can whip 10K euros or something off your taxable revenue, all this with no questions asked and perfectly legal. If you keep the receipts you can swing a whole lot more, work clothes, books, union adherance all sorts of crap. Most people don't pay much tax at all but still expect big packets of "aquis sociaux" as an inalienable right.

Obviously preparing for the Championship next season. Could rival Derby for the lowest ever points total in the PL.

I don't doubt that our current squad could have held their own in the First Division of 1984. I really really doubt whether the team of 1984 (because it was a team and not a squad) would be of any great significance in today's premier league.Football has moved forward since 1984 and I really doubt whether a lot of the old "greats" would be much better than mediocre players today.

Jack Bauer. If he hadn't killed at least 10 in the first few minutes you knew it was going to be a boring episode.
-
Isn't he injured......!! Was at the time of the last League Cup game.

Don't know, wouldn't think that players available for loan and good enough to play for Saints are very common nowadays.

Having watched a bit of EPL football this season I'd suggest that a lot of the players on show in the matches that I've seen are no better than ours. It's about tactics, competitivity and organisation in many cases. I'm not going to pretend that we could compete with Man C or Man or even Tottenham but I doubt that we're any worse than Swansea or QPR let alone Wigan or Blackburn. We have good players and if you look at blokes like Derry at QPR or Delap at Stoke you wonder what all the fuss is about. We'd have to strengthen our defence though.Don't think even Fonte would be good enough because his constant fouling wouldn't go unpunished by the powder puff refs in that division.

Talking of MW3 there'll probably be a few on offer at cut price on markets and stuff. 2 lorry loads were ripped off just outside Paris this morning. So if you see one make sure it's an English version.

13 minute highlights of Saints 4 - Coventry 2

As long as it's not Merrington I can put up with it. That bloke's accent and veiled attempts to hide a poor literacy really grate on my nerves. -
Lukas Jutkiewicz.... is he worth signing?

I think Fonte struggles with "physical presence" anyway. He always seems to be involved in wrestling matches with any big lump that the opposition may have.Unless he can stop all that bustling and holding and adopt a bit of the class we've seen from Jos we're going to have problems sooner rather than later. -
CB,striker and Jos.

It also lets us utilise the energy of Chaplow,in a role where his defensive shortcomings aren't a handicap, for the 60 minutes that he lasts. However we have to be careful over the period when Chappy's battery is beginning to go flat, leaves us open down the right.

Nah, a Catalan thus a Barcelona supporter,****ged a lot of women for a Pope though, not a bad lad in all.

In fact it's quite interesting, apparently Alexander VI just took a compass and arbitrarily divided South America into Portuguese and Spanish sovereignty. You know the one who was a Borgia.
-
There are teams who are a couple (or 4) of games shy though.
-
36 points already, about half of what we'd need for a play-off place.
-
Could be that "Brazilian" is a bastardised form of Portuguese just like "American" is a derivative of English.
