It's what NA seems to be doing with the midfield and to be honest the Cork/Hammond pairing worked pretty well at the start of the season. The trouble with Hammond is that his tackling is oft a bit approximate,he didn't get a shedload of yellows last season for nothing.I suppose that this season with Cork in good form Hammond has been needed a bit less in the tackling department.
If you look at the slow motion from Tuesday you"ll see that the Nolan booking is actually from a foul by Hammond, Nolan slides in perfectly legally and plays the ball, Hammond then tramples him and Nolan gets booked,no wonder he was moaning all night about it.
If I were NA I'd drop Hammond permanently now and let Cork and Morgan build up the partnership that we'll need in the EPL next season, both very young players with a stack of experience behind them already.
