why would he not be ?
-
Looks to be running in footer boots whereas most of the others are in trainers, forgot them perhaps, perhaps the long sleeved under shirt is some sort of fitness aid. Anyway why isn't JonnoQuick miles in front instead of trailing at the back, perhaps he's a couple of laps ahead.

World Madonna Day ?

Must be more difficult to get the wrong video than the right one though, I just clicked on the article on the OS and I get this year's video with NA,Guly and Jack Cork.
-
You don't lose them that way, when I run with gloves on in the winter if I take them off at any time I usually end up with only 1 glove.Usually end up with "pairs" of gloves of different colours.

Doble and Gobern for starters, although Gobern is now an ex-player of course.Didn't Pulis get sent off as well in a loan spell? Lancashire was king of the red card when he was with us,don't know if he's got any better, highly likely as I think he had a pretty good season at Walsall.Morgan gets his fair share of yellows as well, but then so do Chaplow and Hammond, probably a bit necessary in their cases,CMs get cards.Hasn't McGoldrick (again an ex-player) been sent off a couple of times this season as well?
-
yep that's about it,put Stockport down to 9 men.Think he played one game for them after that, went on loan somewhere else last season as well.
-
Didn't help himself by getting sent off in his second game though did he.It would seem to me that many of our young players are overly aggresive, don't know whether that stems from not having a reserve side to give them regular football or what.
-
Trouble is the vast majority of players cited wouldn't stay on the pitch more than 10 minutes in our day and age. I played a few friendlies with Tommy Traynor when I was a young man and he was an ex saint already, dirty ?? then ....well no, it was accepted but today, straight red at the first tackle, even Case and Ball would fall foul of the refereeing nowadays.I used to live a few houses down from Terry Paine and his(first) good lady, didn't often get involved in kids kickabouts in the street but on the few occasions when he did.....well

I don't know, apparently the Water Margin is supposed to be a pretty good restaurant and if you don't go in for the fried stuff Asiatic food is supposed to be pretty healthy.
-
Come along now Chez, you know that the sign of a good player is one that hoofs it towards Rickie in any situation, someone might fall over in the opponents penalty box and boost Lambert's goal tally.
-
what later than 2009 you mean, buck up MLG you're very shaky on fact today.
-
were we not told just recently that he was super fit? Never mind we can always blame any injury that he picks up on Pardew I guess.
-
I hope the little design on the front page of the OS (where it speaks of the new shirt) isn't supposed to be a clue. Red stripes and white stripes with thin red stripes within. From a distance it would look like we're playing in red and pink.Yukkk

Exactly ;at the next level only superior ability will count. This is why I just cannot understand why people continue to believe that Lambert and Barnard will be effective.Guly at least has some sort of technical baggage to help him, the others are all huff and puff. Lambert reliance may cause us serious problems in the NPC, we need another goalscorer proven at that level because we ain't going to get a shedload of penalties to boost his goal count next time round. We need a 20 goal striker and Guly to front our attack.
-
I expect him to flourish next season IF he is given the chance. As long as the manager recognises his ability and is able to harness it with suitable tactics all will be well.
-
A player's impact on a game is influenced by the player's around him. If his vision and reading of the game is light years ahead of his team-mate's then whatever he does apart from the odd individual action will be negated by the insufficience of others. Now you could have a team of 10 Messis and a **** keeper and the result would always be the same.A bad coach/manager can completely stifle decent players by bridling their individual talent with half baked team actions. I am impatient to see how we get on next season because although I agree perfectly that our manager did a great job last season, success in the Championship is new ground for him.No doubt all will be well though.
-
There surely will be a decent take up, probably around 15K in total but the real measure will be the average home gate.If we have 2000 extra ST holders but the gate remains roughly the same that tends to indicate that former "pay as you go" fans have become ST holders and a the end of the day we'll make less money per game. This has no doubt been calculated by the club and the price increases and removal of certain concessions are there to compensate that.If the average home gate goes up by quite a bit it would tend to show that we are attracting new fans or existing ones are attending more often.
-
Should start nearly every game next season, in reality he'll probably be an impact player most of the time.
-
Certainly does, the last SFC accounts (up to June 2010) show us running at a massive loss even with 21K average gates and the JPT receipts and all that.Even with the extra audiovisuel revenue, slightly better gates and ST price increases the SFC operation won't be much better off because we've no doubt increased some players' salaries as well. Brighton were probably running on a much lower budget and doubling their average gate plus all the rest will allow them to spend more. Sometimes Saint's accounts worry me because we seem to pay our players far more than most other teams, hopefully the rendition at the next level will show us why.I personally think we have too many players on our roster and would like to see a few outs as well as one more in.It is no use keeping players you have no use for and who are obviously miles off the required level. This supernumary squad was what did for us before, I hope we're not going to let it get out of hand again. Coaching staff seems to be creeping upwards all the time as well.
-
with a 22K capacity an the obligation to offer visiting teams 10% ish of the tickets it means that for most matches non ST holders won't get a look in,hence the rush to buy them.Like us at the Dell in the 90s really.

Scott Steedman quits as Head of Sales & Marketing...
Window Cleaner replied to saintscottofthenortham's topic in The Saints
I looked at it the other day, just a lot of formless noise of the market place as Golding would say, nonsensical, probably what it would be like in a lunatic asylum really. -

Or even that the job wasn't big enough fr him or too restricted, people leave jobs for a multitude of reasons, most of them have nothing sinister at all attached to them. -
Then again if I'd have had a quid for everyone that I know who's going to give up smoking, drinking or sell the car and get a bike every time fags, booze and petrol have gone up in the budget .....well I'd be even more filthy rich than I already am by now. :):)
