  1. don't trust the mechanics at the depot then.
  2. or from behind the line if you listen to some.
  3. Yep he'll be on later slashing the seats on the bus.
  4. because Chappers is off, obviously wasn't right from the start. Think we need to get Harding on and move Dickson up into to midfield cos Morgan can't take them on all by himself.
  5. Told you all the other day it would be a pitched battle, matches against Ince teams always are.Notts C have already had 5 red cards this season,50 odd yellows as well,I mean it's not as if Ince is going to stamp that out is it.
  6. well it does now, this is the number 4 of the days of my youth;Used to get off at the Bitterne Brewery and walk up to our house in West End Road. Beat changing on to the H+D ,plus with the length of the trip you could smoke a fair few fags and try your luck with the St Anne's and Girl's Grammar girls.
  7. today we are a number 4, winding it's way from Shirley to Townhill via town and Portswood, it takes a while but we'll get there all the same.
  8. no smoking,no spitting and no slashing the seats if we lose then.
  9. On the bench, no Hammond either though (no Lallana as well) so that'd be Bart, Harding,Butters,Gobern,Doble,Barney and Seaborne I think.
  10. Team time then: Davis©. Richardson, Fonte, Jaidi, Dickson. Chamberlain, Chaplow, Schneiderlin, Puncheon. Guly, Lambert So no Lallana as very much expected, will have to wait and see if he's on the bench.
  11. What never?? Not even in his pre-gulf existence? Must be like the Ravens at the Tower of London then, a real harbinger of impending doom.
  12. I'd be more worried about the Barnard affair if he was in our regular starting line-up. At the moment he's just a bit part player and we have plenty of options without him.
  13. A 2:1 in Business Studies nowadays is probably worth about the same as a Latin O Level from the early 70s,ie very little. My lad did 6 months of his 5 year Engineering diploma at Brizzle Uni, his English was among the best of the bunch and he's not that great at it believe me.Most of it comes from SciFi films, the Simpsons and Friends.
  14. Cotterill makes him look like an Oxford don though.Football must be about the only sector where complete imbeciles get to manage (legal) multi-million pound concerns.
  15. They might even be out of the play-off places when all the back fixtures even out.
  16. so much for the CPS not having enough evidence then.
  17. 4/1----->1/4 says 1+1=2
  18. perhaps he's just looking at the facilities
  19. Liverpool are supposed to be looking at a Dutch wide man from Hamburg, Elajero or something like that, Dutch international anyway. If that's the case I very much doubt that they'll be looking at any other wide men in the 10£ million bracket this time round. CM is a much bigger problem area for them .
  20. Aren't they meant to be running after Ranieri already??
  21. Probably yes.Leeds and Norwich seem to be doing OK, can't remember what their recruitment was like last summer though. There's a lot of crap in the NPC,a lot of very financially unstable clubs who blow hot and cold depending on what's in the kitty at transfer time. We have several players who'd not be disgraced at the highest level, certainly no worse than a lot of the crap that I see on show at Newcastle,Wigan or even Liverpool.
  22. Rickie spends a lot of his time out there as well these days although he was often on the right as well against Oldham. So if AL is out I expect we'll see a kaleidoscopic front 4 of Guly,Barney,Ox and Rickie .Should be enough to confuse the Magpies.
  23. VMAN is the absolute fountain of knowledge though. Only LB got it right on more things. If VMAN says there might be bad news then I think you can take getting some news that isn't good as read.
  24. who cares anyway, whatever he does won't effect us one iota.
