Mexico have only been awarded hosting rights once, they held the tournament in 1986 because Colombia defaulted on their bid at a stage when it was far too late to change the destination very far.

El-Abd's Injury from the Brighton Game - Not for Faint Hearted!
Window Cleaner replied to LGTL's topic in The Saints
Is that RLGM that I see lurking 25 yards out in the background. WTF is he doing there, surely he should be in the 6 yard box sniffing for a rebound. Perhaps he's playing in midfield nowadays, 0-10-0 ...Burley must be in charge again. -
by 2030 it will be Germany's turn again, unless of course they get 2026

Not unless we wheel out Cliff Richard singing a song that sounds roughly like Bing Banga Bang. What are Bucks Fizz doing these days, must be in some retirement home or other.

Nineteen C was god himself iirc -
Everyone like England, it's the English that most people south of Dover, east of Grimsby and west of Lands End don't care for. The English need to brush up on their image.

It's not the point, european TV stations have gotten the idea, where from I couldn't say, that the UK can't sort out it's measly snow problems because you don't have the money to pay for the equipment which is bog standard in even the poorer northern european states, but all the same you want to spend billions on hosting yet another major international sporting event. The Spanish are openly blaming Zapatero and their economic crisis for their failure and yet the UK is blaming a TV programme. h x t

Just my opinion but we'd have maybe done better if Cameron and Prince William had stayed out of it and left it to football people. It worked for the Olympics,Blair and Beckham sold the Olympic family a then half-baked,undercosted project on their personalities alone; It was never going to work this time,I don't doubt that some members of FIFA think that Cameron would be better off at home sorting out the mess. Don't think Panorama is much to blame, last night's crowd trouble and the fact that the brits can't even sort out a couple of centimetres of snow are probably a bit more responsible..

although the lady in question was only 8 at the time and probably didn't even know the men concerned at the time of the bombing. Still good to see that all the years of campaigning have got a result although I'm sure it's the spot that's more important than the fact that it's SFC.My old grandad worked at the gas works for 40 odd years,I know a lot of people were extremely attached to it.

Brentford are on a bit of a roll at the moment, beat Colchester at home the other day.I really don't fancy a Seaborne/Jaidi pairing if they've got something resembling a striker who's decent on the deck.

anyway the whole of that particular action just negates totally the argument that Morgan never plays dangerous forward passes. Beautiful through ball, a real striker would have sunk it in a heartbeat, but Lallana isn't a real striker. Good work from him of course but this is really why we need an instinctive striker.Give Rooney or Tevez a ball like that and it's in the back of the net in a nanosecond...still we're in the 3rd division. -
My what a surprise, just cannot understand where the saints twitter stuff came from.

in fact a foot of snow is a lot,you get some ski stations with less and it's still skiable. -
honestly what is the point of going on all the time about the poor bloke. He's got a loan period for 3 months now, he's getting a game, we should just leave him be.I notice we don't go on and on and on about some of the players who are in the "development squad" who'll never get a first team game in a month of Sundays either.

sports science or probably lack of it.

scores more goals; 12 from 16 starts, still perhaps it's just a flash in the pan. Saint's fans wouldn't like him, gets booked a bit, to me that shows the sort of aggression a young player needs to get goals.

but the BBC shoved it out on the 15th of November last, that's why it makes so little sense. There was an Echo piece in May where he says AP was allowing him treatment facilities and participation in pre-season.

lucky person skiing outside the main holiday periods. Super Besse is opening up this weekend, might go up there, but if those gendarmes bawl me out again for not using the snow chains just because some old idiot can't drive his camper van properly I shall not be amused. M+S tyres are all you need. -
well well, speaking of top goalscorers in the division I wonder how BWP is going to make ends meet seeing as he didn't get paid last month.

I did as well when I started getting a bit of a salary but I gravitated back again, I liked the Milton.
