course I do, it's just that this constant sniping at Cortese p*sses me off.

get over yourself ffs is an anagram of Cestrian Saint

Have you changed your mind about this season?
Window Cleaner replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
no I haven't, our only problem is with efficacity in front of goal.We will win this league......no problem. -
nope,we can't have 2 of them saying, "and after God, me" down at SMS
-
he will therefore be invited to join the grammar police of this very forum once he has signed up and paid his fiver.
-
fat bastard needs to knock that stuff on the head:?
-
Ooooh juicy one, South Today will get hammered for that if it's not 100% correct, wouldn't be in their shoes if they've made that up or even exagerated a teensy weensy bit.

I have been to interviews for jobs I didn't want, I just wanted it to get about that I was 'looking around' to get more money out of my then current employer.Still that was the mad 80s when you could double your salary in a month if you were unscrupulous enough.
-
it's still fixed term accordng to employment law, the only type of contract from which you can legally resign with impunity is a contract of intermined duration (ie a normal work contract)Rolling is fixed term, once a new period has started it's fixed until the 12 months following that date.
-
because we did not incite MON to resign and take a job with us.He has no doubt sorted this out with Villa at the time and is now a free agent.
-
there you go then, lokoks like Scunny we're using the heavy bullcrap blower to try to give us the gee up and take our money.
-
not in football it doesn't, you can't just resign from a fixed term contract in any walk of life anyway. If you quit before the end of your contract your employer is entitled to compensation just as you are if the contract is broken by the employer for no valid reason.
-
provided that the manager in question is willing to quit his old job and start the new one(ie with us) and let the tribunal sort it later ......seems that was what NC wanted but Adkins wouldn't do it, let him rot in Scunny then, they'll get relegated again soon and he'll regret it likely as not.
-
really? perhaps you need to work on that then, or have a go with a really skanky girl:rolleyes:

SSN reporting that S****horpe say the offer to Adkins is withdrawn
Window Cleaner replied to Topcat's topic in The Saints
no we didn't,maybe there is a reason for all this, a power play on someone else for instance. Cortese knows what he's doing, it's just not the same way as most other people, that's what makes him a football CEO and former swiss banker and other people dustmen (sorry refuse collection operatives) and shop assistants. -
Adkins has NOT signed - and may not do so now either !!!

probably just trying to not look too much of a pussy in front of Scnthorpe's few hard line supporters.Lowe used to come out with that sort of crap as well, the players (or manager) always left anyway..... -
I would think that Will Shakespeare wrote Loves Labours Lost after a particularly trying afternoon with Mistress Anne down at Stratford FC. I took my ex once, will never live down the shame of the tea-flask and the grapes, took the current mrs twice, both times to watch PSG at the Parc, unfortunatly she also shamed me by berating some innocent neighbour over his continual fag consumption. Thus by 2 pratical experiments I have learned that women and football are immiscible.

strange that as 100% of voters don't know exactly why he was sacked. Only the don't knows can possibly be right. Anyway AP was far too fond of spending money for players he personally wanted and probably made very little effort to work with ones he didnt want, viz Gillett, never understood that really, bloke can obviously play in a higher league but not for us,not even as a sub, obviously a I don't want you I want someone else issue. It could well be that NC wouldn't spend money on a particular player and AP threw his toys out of the pram, hence the work with the academy stuff, maybe the club wanted Dean to be a first team hopeful and AP,true to form, wanted to spend money on someone else, hence all the two more by tuesday stuff.

Echo says Adkins on brink of Saints job 2.30pm
Window Cleaner replied to Topcat's topic in The Saints
crap, the players we have could get promotion if they are left to play as they are able, it's the negative tactics that f*ck us every time.Bet we could get promoted without a manager, but not with a bad one who's tactic is hoof it to Rickie all of the time. -
never mind the unassailable lead, an all day batting practice for the top order will do nicely.
-
bets on what??? they'll go broke if they stop taking bets won't they:D
-
anyway this has been scientifically disproven for a long time now
-
except that I'd say that one or two players have gone slightly backwards since they've been here, not all but some. But then as you know I put that squarely down to to the coaching staff not been up to the technical level already existent in those players.
-
because they recruit people who are exceptionally good at finding things out for them. If you can get that sort of job with a top bookies then you could probably sail into 5 or 6 as well. My dad had a longstanding friend who was an East London bookie, not much he didn't know about anything that concerned his business (and a lot of other sombre stuff as well)
