  1. if that bloke mentions the play off dream once more I'm going to go over there and nut him Goal Rickie
  2. should have said so then, can't have it all ways.
  3. the team are knackered and knew full well they were playing for just the result
  4. of course but AP wanted it that way.
  5. which is why getting points on the board as soon as possible is always better than having games in hand
  6. AP needs to sort Seaborne out in the close season. Many said he was an iffy signing, I can see why now.
  7. Dave griping about Barnard being left out
  8. Rickie misses an easy one.
  9. must have heard the Huddersfield score. Will that idiot commentator just stop talking about play-off hopes....it's over, i just don't want to hear it any more this season and hopefuly not next either.
  10. Some pretty quick runs there then. Hope we can bowl a bit this time because we don't need another defeat. Still at 222 on with 3 wickets left we might well make a game of it.
  11. Unfortunately collecting a few red cards seems to be the stamp of some of the better players in the world of football. Getting red cards doesn't make you a good player but few of the very best escape them entirely.Beckham,Zidane,Maradonna,Viera,Rooney,Gerrard,Cantona..they've all had their fair share in the past.
  12. What do you expect, they're still in administration and yet another "local businessmen's" rescue package has just gone down the crapper.Aren't they on a restricted number of full time players or something like that because they're in admin? Being inAdmin at the start of the season should bring about an automatic 1 league drop, regardless of points on the board.
  13. But just on goal difference;) Norwich are better 71 from 33 and Millwall are exactly the same 68/33 but we have about +5 on GD both started pretty badly as well but they didn't have the -10 points. However they will both finish more than 10 points above us as well.
  14. It's not about positive or negative it just looks like something that we would have wheeled out under the Lowe regime. The more that they keep harping on about this is just going to increase the frustration felt when Huddersfield crush Stockport tomorrow afty.So I think they really need to tone this down a bit because this is the 4th or 5th don't give up because the players haven't article since Tuesday, they'll have Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush belting it out in the background before long.
  15. If you can believe that of course. I really think that AP has been at fault over Gillett this season. Plenty of occasions to play him and see what he could offer with no loss of face, most would play him every time instead of Wotton but no he's just cast aside into the footballing garbage bin.Same with Gobern, not even a sniff when we had plenty of opportunity to give him a try .
  16. There's a new piece on the OS urging fans to turn up and be the 12th man because we can "still make the play-offs". Also included in this is some sort of suggestion that if you do you'll be a priority case for future plum games (like the play-offs). In my opinion (once again) it just smacks of desperation and OTTness.
  17. Anyway the STs are always counted and there's at least 12K of them.Plus the free under 8s.Anything less than 21K would be a severe disappointment I would think.
  18. f they're still in business in 2012 of course. I really doubt that their debt is surmountable.
  19. Norwich lost their opening game 7-1 and changed the manager very soon afterwards.I would think even an iffy start next season would bring about rapid action from NC, if it doesn't happen before of course because despite all the waffle that I read on here I am by no means sure that it's nailed on that AP will start the season with us. If were more than 10 points off 6th place (which we probably won't be) then I'll wait until NC expresses himself on the subject (or does nothing about it,whichever the case might be) .Then again Markus might be so chuffed with his day ou at Wembley he may have already overruled NC who knows.
  20. We really need some bowlers urgently. Had them on the run at 311/7 and now we're allowing the lower order to hammer out quick runs.Gonna be a long old season in the field for us I think.
  21. who knows, perhaps everybody is taking a free under 8 (under 12 in the family section) and there are no more tickets available. Wouldn't think so though as AP spoke of needing a big crowd to boost the lads,if we already had but few places left he probably wouldn't say anything about it.
  22. The trouble with the JPT is that you can't field a really weak side and a strong side would be overly criticised if they lost to league 2 strugglers. Didn't stop Millwall losing against Barnet though..
  23. As did Swindon at home, very few imagined us losing that one. In fact the two results that really damaged our campaign were the losses at home to Swindon and away to Tranmere. All the rest were manageable but not those 2.
  24. But AP addresses the situation in the correct manner in his interview pre Carlisle, that we just need to win our matches and see what happens because we have a mathematical chance. We need the fans to turn up in number and get behind the team. It doesn't need three or four other OS articles to tub thump on the issue, Sibley,Kelvin,Lallana don't need to be seen to be all going on about the same point in the space of a couple of days.
  25. We all want them to lose obviously but fate arranges it that they are playing Stockport who are absolutely woeful and who probably have no chance whatsoever of winning against Huddersfield.
