all these additional costs are surely the result of maintaining a CCC level side in League 1.We needed to go up, NC said it a couple of times, we didn't and now the cost of that failure has to be met by the fans.

as usual these final deadlines are just a gee up for buyers or to get ransom money paid or whatever. Hardly anyone takes any notice of 'final delays' nowadays or any other interdiction for that matter. To play for a club like Arsenal you have to be top class, if you don't progress then you won't play. This is the trouble with the big 5/6,if a player has 3 or 4 indifferent games then they'll just get someone else in.A young player should know this and accept it.
