  1. Classic Saturday night TV when I was just a sprog, Dixon followed by the Black and White Minstrels then some tame Western or other
  2. Bet he gives them a penalty, Fonte or Seabourne shirt pulling I expect.
  3. All Morgan's fault apparently
  4. Dixon of Dock Green here as well ?
  5. Collapsed his BMW X3 on the Bournemouth Spur Road alright. High alcohol level as well
  6. Nope too dangerous, he's very fond of arm holding and shirt pulling, at the back it's a bit expected but in midfield it would soon earn him a shower of cards.
  7. No surprises then Davis, Otsemobor, Fonte, Seaborne, Harding, Puncheon, Hammond, Wotton, Lallana, Barnard, Lambert. Subs: Bialkowski, Mills, James, Perry, Antonio, Connolly, Papa Waigo.
  8. AP said that Morgan has put the "end of the season at risk" in his prematch piece on the OS, has been quite heavily fined internally. I just think it's a bit of a rebuff for the others really, that our whole season's end may or may not depend on the suspension of one 20 year old lad. Sometimes it's better to say nowt about owt.
  9. Bit of a slap in the balls for our "squad midfielders" there then. So OK Paul you're in again but as you're crap it's OK if we lose,it's Morgan's fault anyway"
  10. The answer is we don't have enough data to know. When RL plays against top class opposition we'll be able to decide.
  11. 15 bookings is the current penalty level,so no-one in our side will get suspended because of bookings this season, unless they get 2 yellows=1 red in a game of course.
  12. Those that said he'd get 4 matches were exactly right. Season finished for him then, unless we get to the POs and that is extremely unlikely. Perhaps played his last game for us but again fairly unlikely.
  13. Danny Wallace's overhead kick against Liverpool is my favourite. Pity it's not on youtube or anything, game was televised I think..
  14. There were some for sale in the Echo small ads when we had booked our place for the final.Probably local people though.
  15. I'm not sure that James is at all fully fit. When was the last time he actually played? He's been on the bench but doesn't seem to get much action, think he's still being nursed along to the end of the season;
  16. Might even ratchet up his transfer fee a bit more as well.
  17. It won't work because he can't tackle well enough to get the ball in the first place. Morgan hasn't gotten 8 yellows and 2 reds this season for his needlepoint and flower arranging abilities, some are because he's a silly boy, others are because he puts in some crunching tackles and professional fouls when all is lost otherwise. If you read the DNA piece that I put up on a thread the other day he says that he has changed from a ball artist to a bit of a bulldog on the pitch, guess he just hasn't learned no to overdo it yet. Anyway no Lallana in CM if you please, we need him where he already is. Wotton will be OK for the games we have.
  18. And they will have a better chance of doing that if Huddersfield have to take the game to them. We have seen in our 2 games with them what a pain Exeter can be defensively, if Huddersfield just need to drift through and take a point it will be easier for them than trying to get a win.Which is why we need Colchester to beat them because Stockport certainly won't.
  19. That won't happen, he'll probably be just fine at Wolves next season, the step up seems to take a while as it did with Baird and to some extent Bale, that's the great advantage of the EPL, with the plethoric squads most sides have there's always a bit of time for the newer players to settle and learn and progress. Wenger says it can take 18 months for the majority of players.A game here,a game there, muscle and stamina building and some serious bench time.
  20. Although AP was a bit of a "previous name" when he agreed to take us on. Think he'd been out of management for about 18 months. Anyway I can't see him going to Celtic and I can't see us sacking him so the point is a bit mute.
  21. No it won't .Colchester can only get a maximum of 77 points and that point coupled with the 3 Huddersfield will certainly get against Stockport will put them onto 78 leaving them just needing 1 from a 90 minute bore draw against Exeter, whereas we would be better off with them needing to win at Exeter to be sure of making the play-offs. Colchester don't matter,Leeds will take care of that, anyway 77 max won't beat our 78, which is what we'll get.
  22. Volcanic ash permitting of course:)
  23. how would you compare it to say to the tackle that got Terry's second yellow card yesterday, that was awful, straight red if he hadn't already had a yellow. Yet those sort of tackles used to go unpunished provided you touched the ball, didn't matter what else got in the way as long as you touched the ball they were kosher. In fact we used to love them,Brian O'Neill, Docker Walker, David Webb not to mention Pyscho , used to get about 15 to 20 of them a game and not even a ticking off from the ref,no free kicks either.
  24. Huddersfield are as good as in the play-offs, they'll crush Stockport and beat Colchester who are diabolical just now. If Huddersfield were going to cave in it was when they were 3-2 down on Tuesday, that comeback was like a shot in the arm to them as they proved by beating Millwall. Sorry lads and lasses but great as our current run of form is Huddersfield have p*ssed all over our play-off chances with their 2 results this week, they won't cave in now. We just need to win them all and hope Charlton just fade away, don't think they will though.
