nah, their responses are usually pretty inaccurate, they say whatever comes into their head at the time.A few weeks back someone reported them as saying just 6K left, then we got a crowd of 18000 or something like that.

Although seeing how HMRC always give clubs more time to pay their debt you have to wonder if the Old Regime didn't get their payment priorities wrong. If we'd have given more money to Barclay's and fobbed off the revenue with excuses maybe we wouldn't even have been on -10 points. Although the old regime might still be in place.

Here you'd be up in front of a judge before the ink was dry at the printers.

Ooh la, an application form like that would land you in very hot water in France. Are you allowed to ask people their Ethnic Group in the UK then??

Then there was that other modelling shop a just a bit further down Below Bar on the other side of the street, spent a lot of time in there drooling over (and occasionally buying) bits of balsa wood and solid fuel rocket motors. That was just by the bus stop where you got the Number 14 to go home from the Swimming Baths. Couldn't possibly rtell you the name of it though -
the line up in the match before Leeds was something like Bart,James,Jaidi,Perry,Harding,Morgan,Hammond,Lallana,Antonio,Connolly,Lambert; Wotton came on often enough and Mellis and Trotman played their part. Murty played really few games for us, probably about the first 10 or 12 after that he got injured most of the time and was replaced by James. Then again we only played middling and poor teams most of the time; When the real tests like Leeds and Colchester came along we weren't so good.It was a team that could p*ss on Oldham though which we couldn't again at home later in the season.
-
But our best run came when we had none of the latest additions. It's probably just coincidental that it was before the JPT got serious and that we probably played no really good sides.Connolly was fit most of that period as was Murty (or I think he was, haven't checked) Hammond and Morgan was the bog standard midfield pairing and at the first hurdle after Morgan got injured we lost at Leeds.

We had Brian O'Neill, I'm sure there have been others

Refs fault  -
October and November I think up to the away game at Leeds, 26 points from 11 games. If we had carried on in that vein we would now be on 81 points having obtained 82 from 35. Probably just because we played poor sides in the main but the side hasn't got any better results since. Since then we have obtained 45 points from 24 games

I really doubt that Coppell was NC's first choice.Probably played some sort of advisory role though.NC's first choice was probably someone we've hardly even heard about.

Or a new enlightenment brought on by a much publicised drink-driving conviction. -
We'll have to see, I'd be pretty surprised if he isn't gone from here by this time next week, never to return.

Not really, some would tell you that AP was severely warned by NC after the defeat by BR (sorry about the acronyms)

Papa doesn't even mention the possibility of staying here in this interview. http://www.xibar.net/PAPE-WAIGO-NDIAYE-J-ai-suffisamment-acquis-d-experience-et-de-force-la-j-ai-la-rage_a22916.html

this is of course why I was very careful to specify since the 9th games (10th games was a shock horror home defeat for us by Bristol Rovers) At that point we had -1 point and Millwall had 10 points. Since then they have obtained 72 and we have obtained 71.
-
I really doubt that Papa will be kept on actually, hasn't done anywhere near enough on a consistent basis, been good and bad on a saw-edged basis, not really sharp enough in the box to be a striker with us.Connolly is injured on a quasi-permanent basis, probably still be here next season but I wouldn't count on him making any more than 15 games. Barnard? not sure that he's very much in APs plans as a starter for more than half of the games. I could well see us signing a O'Donovan type of player to be Lambert's regular partner. * ** edit. In fact Papa gave an interview to the Senegalese media at the beginning of April where he seemed to completely rule out staying with Saints. How exact that is I couldn't say because I don't know that media outlet at all. Just talks about being under contract with Fiorentina unil 2012 and being keen to return to higher leagues.
-
I am sure that most people see it that way. I am slightly more objective but as I've said many times I'm OK if he stays and OK if he doesn't.Millwall and Norwich have both better records than us since game 9 and to me that is of no little importance.I'm sure NC will see it very objectively unless there were hard-line strings attached to the January recruitments.
-
What lost us promotion via the play-offs? Whatever Norwich have done since the 10th match that we haven't. They've taken 84 points from 35 matches, if we had done that we'd be in there, probably in second place. I have no idea what it is, work it out for yourselves.

One penalty and a hat-trick albeit against Southend, still not at all dusty.
-
Strange that no ticket prices have been announced though.Perhaps the two issues are related in some way.

In fact they're not all available on free transfers. Some of them are still in contract and PNE are willing to consider offers for them. -

Can't really understand exactly why he's being "released" by PNE, Cost them a fair bit of money and it would seem that he has an ongoing contract, maybe he's available on a free transfer but I doubt it's really all that free because West Brom benefit from a sell on clause and he probably gets a good whack on the salary front. -

Because we scored a lot of goals in some matches. The attack wasn't up to certain situations when it needed to be.Obviously if you tonk teams 5 and 6 nil you'll be amongst the top scorers, but when you have a problem like Oldham or Wycombe which you can't solve with your "usual" methods you need plans B,C D,E And F.
