  1. That's by no means certain though.
  2. Soft southeners aren't we.
  3. I see that Colchester have signed Queudrue from Birmingham on loan. Good player should bolster their defence a whole lot,not good news for us really. See that Mowbray has gone as well , not very patient at Celtic are they. Won 17/30 good job AP wasn't manager at Celtic with his 17/37 record then.
  4. Looks like she's got a couple of extra balloons under it already.
  5. [quote=John B; By the way I quite like being in League 1 last night £10 for a ticket a win 5 goals a couple of pints a good evening out Yes but I guess if Messrs Cortese and Liebherr had wanted to be involved in League 1 for a while they could have arranged that for far less than the 20+ million £ that's it's cost so far. You have to relativise our situation . Big money(well quite a lot)= Big Ambitions and Little Patience.
  6. French system, know you're in trouble long before it happens. Unfortunately never applies to governments or civil servants.
  7. Good idea, that includes John Terry then.
  8. Seaborne, Puncheon,Otsemobor (I think) and Barnard are all cup tied.
  9. If we have anything like our normal JPT side out it should be easily enough. However if we were forced to start with a midfield of Wotton/Gillett/Deano and Papa with Rickie and DC in attack I'd think twice about predicting certain success. Idem if we have a couple of lads playing on injections it'd be not so easy.
  10. Although I don't really see how AP could have changed results like Swindon and Tranmere with the players he had available. Perhaps those we signed weren't ideal and that may be down to him but they've done well on other occasions. Signing Seaborne may cost him though, especially if he was preferred to another player like Elliot Ward, but then again we don't know what that was all about. I'd think we may change the coaches before the manager.
  11. I would have thought that would be considered as being sub par actually. 10 points from the automatic promotion places..there you're talking... I am convinced (because NC said so) that the money was allowed to be spent for us to make the play-offs and that in January. I really don't think he'll be a happy bunny if we're still 10 points off (which we won't be) at the end of the season. He may well accept somewhere between 3 and 6 points as being the minimum but in that case I really doubt that there will be any more net investment this summer.
  12. now if all those matches were drawn, that would really help us, but at the end of the day we'd need to win all of our games anyway. That's possible but these injuries are starting to hurt us and Sunday won't help either.Hope that we're not going to play injured players at Wembley and blow the rest of our season.
  13. Wotton probably isn't a really bad player in itself, last night he came on to do the job of a very good player and of course lost out in the comparison. The system is tailored on the attributes of Schneiderlin and as Wotton doesn't have them he looks not so great.
  14. Merrington doesn't have to pay for his ticket though so he's got every reason to be more gracious. I could just hear him on the subject, "What we don't need is to be paying for our tickets".
  15. Morgan has 8 yellows, reds don't count in any way apart from the suspension attached to them, the financial penalty and any constant rough play accusation. Puncheon is on 9 yellows, 1 more before the second Sunday in April (11th) would see him cop a 2 match ban.Morgan needs to avoid getting 2 more yellows before the same date. After that it's Deano on 6 and Harding has a good number of a tidy few as well.
  16. Well Barnard and Puncheon certainly won't be in the side on Sunday. If Morgan and Lallana don't make and James isn't really fit imagine the makeshift side that we'd have to put out. Harding on the right, Mills on the left Jaidi and Fonté as usual. A really tasty midfield of Wotton, Deano,Gillett and Gobern (or McLaggon) with Rickie and Papa in attack. Subs bench, Bart, Perry and the youth team. Still probably won't come to that.
  17. I really don't know, if we start without Lallana and Morgan it will be a fairly evenly matched contest because we'll have a CM of either Deano and Wotton or Deano and Gillett (because I don't think James is starting fit, if he was he'd be starting at right-back) and either of those combinations would be iffy against a side as consistent as Carlisle who seem to know how to raise their game.Plus our defensive problems ...dodgy at best.
  18. Well apparently a certain Mr Le Tissier has been sounding off to any one who cares to listen on the subject of Mr Cortese as well.
  19. Apparently Gillett has a chance of playing on Sunday..don't much like the sound of that (unless it's a subs place) because that would mean that either Lallana or Morgan is probably doubtful. Not that I think that Gillett might not do a better job than Wotton mind you. Just listened in to AP's post match piece, Morgan may or may not be fit for Sunday, whatever "sweating on that" means. Hamstring injury apparently.
  20. Davis will receive the Cup when we win not Deano.
  21. 40?? having they been multiplying in situe?
