  1. Crap as per usual. they want everybody to stay for the player's lap of honour.
  2. Probably a whole lot better, we had an au pair when the kids were small, much better cook that the Mrs.
  3. Puncheon misses an easy one
  4. Probably because it is rumoured that half a dozen were actually sold at the MegaStore before they were withdrawn.
  5. Southend have scored, good job Markus isn't there.
  6. Must be an absolute basket case.
  7. No, not the one that's on the field today.
  8. Snowed here on Wednesday, still plenty of snow at about 1100 metres altitude. Week before it was in the 80s.
  9. was he at Leicester then ? As I have often maintained many managers pay the price for absolutely dire performances by overpaid, lazy, useless players who just profit from fixed term contracts to get paid and do f**k all; Jeez turn that awful football song off.
  10. Led there by Ian Holloway who was a pretty big failure at Plymouth and Leicester,There is no such thing as a bad manager only bad players.
  11. Some highlight, puts a 25 yard free kick wide of the goal.
  12. Dave says the game, the crowd and everything in between is flat today. don't really know why he imagined it would be otherwise.
  13. Don't seem to be able to score though, is Rickie on the pitch, haven't heard much about him
  14. fat finger errors are very much in vogue this week. 28 instead of 38 then,
  15. Since then they've been going on about what a good season we've had.
  16. Bank Holiday in Continental Europe today.(VE day). Maybe Markus has an appointment with Angela Merkel to see how much he needs to lend the Greeks.
  17. what could it possibly matter?
  18. did they really or did you make that up?
  19. Match over, lost again of course. We had them at 32/4 (or something like that) with all their top order gone. That they got a first innings lead and then just bowled us out and picked of the 240 odd required with a couple of sticks of wet celery is just well....
  20. Maybe the Germans and the IMF will bail them out and the markets will go into a tailspin again because just like those spendthrift Greeks they won't accept any austerity measures.
  21. Except for a brief foray into the Champions League of course, then again Saga scored in the CL and didn't set the world alight when he came back from loan at Aalborg.
  22. What changes are possible?? there aren't many other possibilities. We can't bat consistently and we can't bowl out middle order batsmen who come out to tonk and not give a sh*t.For that sort of batsman you need either genuine pace or genuine guile, won't find that with 2 month emergency contracts I'm afraid.
