All seems a bit flat today, far less interest in the game?..surely not.
-
not really those results are acceptable, not great of course but they happen to most teams. For me we lost it in just 2 games, Brighton at home when we were on a hot streak and curiously enough Swindon at home as well, 4 points from those games instead of a big round zero would have eased the pressure for games like Oldham at home.
-
Oh drat, lost again.

Or stay at Burnley, I mean it's not as if he's an out an out EPL player is he. He's been at Burnley a good few years now so why should he up and move because they've been relegated. It would seem that he has another year of contract there so can't quite see why he'd move now.
-
Although GB was right really, he should never have been exposed to a silly old baggage like that. And no Mrs Gillian Duffy don't expect me round to apologise any time soon, cos I can't stand old bags.
-
he didn't, apparently the other lads had a whip round and bought him a go with her for his birthday. then a few others fancied a go themselves.

Carole King, Bobby Vee and Helen Shapiro all have the right idea "It might as well rain until September"

Best player perhaps, but certainly not the most sought after. Lambert is an enigma, scores shedloads but will probably never rise above League 1 football except by gaining promotion with us. JonJo Shelvey now he's worth taking a punt on for 3 million because he's scored 7 goals (against 30 for Lambert) Football used to work on a fairly simple basis, he who scores a lot is the MVP and that's what you need, the others can wait, now it's if he's young enough we might be able to hype him up a bit and fleece some mug team in a couple of years time. Ngog wasn't the best striker available at PSG but Liverpool bought him anyway. Now if they'd bought Hoarau they'd have got a better player for less money. I'm sure they just stick a pin in a list sometimes.

why? they won last year didn't they? UEFA likes to spread it around a bit, hence no UK clubs in the semis this year, thus showing the whole wide world that debt doesn't buy the Champions League..oh did M Platini already say that? see he was right.;)

Antonio - Will he be a saint next season..?

Nope sorry afraid not, NC was pretty clear on the policy when Les Reed was appointed. Not that we may not buy the odd class player mind you but really doubt that we will go in for developing other clubs future bank balances. -

I doubt that that will happen, we are either going to buy him outright or leave it be. No sense in developing a player for another club to profit from after we've done all the spade work. Not the way we will work in the future. -
I would think just better class football and a couple of quid more would get the job done.

Saint's don't need players like Lee Carsley, I really don't know why some of you think they do. -
A typical Hampshire bowling performance of late that's what's going on.
-
Are we skint? Is this a cricketing version of Saints 2008/9? Just do not understand why we haven't signed quality players.

Less a little something because he'd be suspended for the first 2 games. Will go to QPR anyway. -
Simples, keep the ball on the ground so that they can't win it 50% of the time and hoof it up into our half to give themselves a breather. As Man U and Chelsea show us every week if you keep at sides all the time they will eventually crack.Once you give them a sniff of the ball by punting it up into the air they get a bit of a breather. We have to stop punting it up to Lambert because good as he is in the air he only wins it just over half of the time.I just watched a bit of the second half against Orient (bit behind in my watching-far too nice outside to stay in). They hoof, Fonte gets the ball, passes it out left to Seaborne who hoofs it up into the far left corner for Lambert to head down, it's like groundhog day, time after time after time, then we switch it on the ground out to the right, Puncheon puts in a good deep cross, headed back across goal for Lallana to score.

I would agree with this, I just can't see why everybody raves about Fonté as being "cultured". He's more than adequate in defence but his elbowing and shirt pulling will eventually cost us a few badly placed free kicks and penalties. His "distribution" is zero, especially most of his headwork, he will just loop it up into the air instead of trying to nod it down to feet. Watch any Full 90 on the old Saintsplayer, you get a better idea of what I'm talking about.

Victoria Beckham is probably a better footballer than Wotton

Would result in a huge loss for the financial year as well. £125 for the season would relate to just over £5 a game...ain't going to happen. £300 is about bare minimum I suppose.
-
Although I'm not sure that throwing money around without limit is NC's scene. There is certainly a budget for everything not to be exceeded under normal circumstances. Just because Markus seemingly has loads of money he's not likely to throw it all at SFC.
-
Looks like following Hampshire this season could be on a par with following Saints last season (2008/9 I mean).

Morgan has a 4 year contract so why should we offer him a new one, although at the time that he signed I think it was rumoured as 5 years. 4 years with an option perhaps then.He dismissed Arsenal interest as window shopping(in a roundabout way) in a French newspaper recently. Although he did seem to say that as he was 2 years into his contract he could stay or leave (didn't get any other explanation).

One less CCC team would be relegated or at best the losing play off finalist from Lge 1would go up.There is no miracle for us this season, way Huddersfield are now playing (since we kicked their arse) even 2 more wins would have been to no avail.
