i cant fathom how anyone can prefer this league after the season we had last year...and the "exciting" brand of football that was played out..:confused:

you seem to forget that was are in the relegation zone and dont get any points for early league cup rounds (or any league cup wins for that matter)

a total disaster? he has not has he....ok, he never got wolves up, look at all the other managers who fail to do that with that club and other clubs.. spurs, well, he was never bottom of the league after spending tens of millions... he was not brilliant when he left us but he was not a disaster...that is simply letting heart rule your head there...

for all his wrong doings he has NEVER taken a team this low ever....even the great sturrock is managing to do a worse job and so many seem to think he is better than hoddle.. arry was awful when he was here and regarded as one of the worst managers we have had.. he was one goal away from keeping that shambles that was saints up...I would like to think Hoddle would have faired a bit better..

err...we sure do, bristol city last season (minus lee trundle) got promoted out of league 1 and to the playoff final on a squad that cost about the same as rasiak.....

thing is newcastle fans dont know what they want...not so long ago, they had a geordie chairman (who spent silly money) they had a geordie manager and they had a geordie captain...was in the champions league...that was not good enough.... liverpool..I cant uderstand why they are moaning, top of the league, and buying players like torres, riera and how much was mascherano...? yes, I can see what part of football is screwed in this country - THE MOANING FANS..

the thing that gets me...is that should we get the rich investor..we are RIPE to go on to huge things... state of the art training ground, tip top youth set up...new stadium that has the space to be expanded beyind 40-odd thousand... THAT IS ALL IN PLACE....just need the push BACK into the prem then I cant help but think we would have potential buyers (in the current climate) with serious money being very interested.... it is so frustrating that we are going the other way...

with players like Ledesma Parajo TOMMASI and you know blackstock will score I just think they will be too strong for us.. 2-0 to QPR...
