    Alcatraz

going to San Francisco with a "mate" ok then.... gheyer
  3. have all those bids been accepted..or just ours...?
  4. I would love it...LOVE IT if we beat them one day at the end(ish) of the season that really put them in real danger/sent them down...and sang that back to them
  5. when that shot came back from the post....it was probably that moment that kept them up.....they went on a very good run after that after the joy and confidence of beating their better neighbours.. if only....
  6. that was a horrific day...the players completely bottled it...crouch could not even play and arry giving mad milan a thumbs up at the end was a final swipe. we seriously need to win there..
  7. Do you really think the sort of team that would want puncheon would be worried if he is cup tied?? Most potential suiters will probably be out of the cup after this weekend
  8. did you grasp the risk/reward concept....im guessing that so many team apply given the many changes that will happen around the country this weekend..
  9. would you take the club going bust and never existing again for an FA Cup win..? its all about risk/reward can we go up this year...very much so..but we need our best players to be free/fresh as much as possible in the league can we win the cup...no way...there is a minute chance probably in the 1000s - 1.....when was the last time a division 3 team was in the final..let alone win it..? so the risk of our best players v reward of actually winning the competition is totally one sided.. watch many of the top clubs...or many clubs higher than us make sweeping changes this weekend..? why, the risk/reward at this stage of the competition heavily favours the league.....and for a division 3 team chasing promotion...?
  10. would you take relegation to league 2 for an FA cup win..? dont answer
  11. to get promoted again..? to get to the premier league..? to keep hold of our favourite players..? to play against better opposition..? to sign better players..? not to sure though..
  12. calling holloway "hollohead" is a tad harsh.. he had some time out from the game..came back with new ideas and frankly, is performing an utter miracle at the mo...with the very limited squad with the number of games they have coming up..he wants to do anything and everything he can to protect their prem status
  13. seriously...the bigger picture, this season...promotion as it would lead to bigger things..an FA cup win (this season) would not get us any better players in league 1 and would not stop the likes of fonte and co wanting to play at a higher level will probably get slated for that..but hey ho
  14. but MLT earned that by being brilliant year upon year upon year...guly has done it for a few weeks...so will hold my judgement.. I still doubt whether he will be here long term anyway...
  15. could not care about 76.....All I care about is saints in the NPC next season..and simply the more games we play from now till may will not help...we already have extra games due to a few being called off.....we have a vital away game a few days after when at the start of the game we probably wont be 2nd....
  16. LOL jesus, get back to work you work shy lay about ;-0
  17. Beattie rumour..james beattie..?? I would like this
  18. either way, its extra games that have no positive effect on our promotion push
  19. well, there is far more optimism around Home park..they have satisfied their initial petition and are in no immediate threat of going under...they still owe money. so hopefully BWP can keep his shooting boots on for the next few weeks for them
  20. they are doing ok at a higher level as we have dropped quite a bit....like I said, for one reason or another delap was generally poor for us.. those reasons being loads of managers style of play not suited to him poor form moving around in different positions.. etc etc but he was poor....when fans see that, they are hardly going to blame themselves (when some should) and just react to poorness of the pitch arry redknapp..terrible manager for us but brilliant at pompey and now spurs...why is that..? just happens as people in football are not suited in certain situations...does not help when said club is on the way down with a chairman that had lost it I agree that too many players get stick...morgan gets it when he is clearly talented..some games I think he played well, always wanting the ball and not often giving it away etc..only to come on here to look at so many posts slating him.. I dont think Guly is all that..yes he has done well but lets see if it is a purple patch... just opinions
  21. I bet you £1000 we dont make the semi finals
