RIP Markus....even though you were with saints for a short while...you made a massive impact and your story will be told to the next generation of saints fans... enjoy a kick about with Ted up there.... in 14 months or so...you have managed where so many have failed...you have joined the holy tinity of Ted Bates, Lawrie Macmenemy and Matt Le Tissier in becoming a saints legend.. thank you

as for what happens now....or in the future.. the summer (next) will be very interesting...we shall see if the family or whoever connected to the great man wants to carry on his wish the way he would have..... if NOT..then promotion is essential to even think about keeping the team together unless another rich man comes in... I wonder if Cortese will hang around after the summer either way..?????

I will say it....others are thinking it no dount... you should be quiet..all your "nudge nudge wink wink" crap over the last month or so (along with one or two others) suggesting reasons why the pre season tour was announced late and why communications were late coming from the club...and why we have not seen much of cortese have been blown out of the water....litterally..by this tragic news that the guy who, for no particular reason, fell in love with our whacky club....he saved us from being nothing...at least we can do is take time away from football, let the tributes build up and have one big release at the orient game...i cannot see anything but a saints win..even if the crowd drag the team to victory.... dear christ if I get banned for that post, it would have been worth every word

maybe his funeral is this weekend..???

would this illness been many of the reasons why the club/cortese has not been so up front with communications..? and why the pre season tour of switzerland was announced quite late..? some have said markus was there for pre season...but does that mean he was just about well enough to go...?? hmmmm.....all sad
