Get a good start and you're under less pressure as the season goes on. Look at West Ham and West Brom as the perfect examples. Both had blinding starts and despite both having pretty big wobbles towards the early end of the season, they were both still well clear of any danger because of the head start they gained. We however were always playing catch up last season after our first 10 games. The stats prove after those 10 that our points ratios etc were of a top 10 team so if we had the same start as the previously mentioned teams, we would've been right up there. The first 6 - 8 fixtures are more important than people think.
