If you could pick one player from another team in the PL....

Ashley Cole. Say no more. -
Then again, wouldn't surprise me if he goes with someone like Mayuka out wide to threaten Baines and try to push him back as far as possible and get Pienaar back to help him. Only possibly happen if he has recovered from his ankle knock though.
-
I dont agree with you. To go to Everton with just Davis and JWP as the CM's would be criminal IMO. Need 3 in there to combat Fellaini as the AM and whoever else is in CM. 3 CM's are required to give us that extra bit of support and energy. Gonna be a long afternoon otherwise.

I'm guessing the injury is Schneiderlin. Guessing we've gone back to the 4-3-3 with Davis, JWP & Lallana as the 3 CM's, Gaston wide left, Punch wide right and Lambert through the centre? Gazzaniga Richardson Yoshida Hooiveld Clyne Davis JWP Lallana Puncheon Ramirez Lambert

I'm totally with you in regard that he has been targeted each game by the opposition and had the **** taken out of him. The warning signs were there last season but this is too much of a step up for him. Any other day I'd back Adkins with this call but today I would've just had him in to allow Clyne to deal with one of their main threats then as of next week, go with Clyne at LB and see how it goes.
-
Sounds stupid but I would've had him in today to allow Clyne to deal with Baines and Pienaar. Frazer will get torn a new one if he plays. Unless Shaw is coming in at left back?

There we go! Just arrived. Lets see what the fuss is all about

Yeah they're brilliant. Use them for every game I buy regardless of price as you build up points per pre-order and get credit in your account that eventually leads to discounts and money off etc. Plus you always get it a day early - if not, they give you £3 'compensation' in your account. Very good service.

Mine will be here today. From ShopTo. XBOX. £39.85.

No problem! just get annoyed seeing it posted on every build up thread. I may eventually get around to sorting a 'sticky' (hopefully) explaining the live streaming and the different options available just so everyone knows and it is always there for everyone to see.
-
It wont be a 'potential' live stream, there WILL be a live stream! How many times do we have to put it on here?! Go to http://www.wiziwig.tv or http://www.thefirstrow.eu And you will find a stream of every Premier League game. Flash ones are fine but I prefer to use SopCast ones as they are usually much higher in quality and better to watch.
-
Lets just say I couldnt work out who half of those were! Shocking really.

They're one of those teams that have always raised their game against the bigger sides and sometimes struggled against the 'lesser ones'. Just pleased we're playing them on a Saturday and not a Monday night under floodlights as that is when they seem to come alive! Would like to see Boruc in goal but I think Gazzaniga is definitely the number 1 choice at the moment and it is definitely his jersey to lost and not someone else's to gain IMO. My team would be: My only concern would be the RB position as although moving Clyne to LB sorts that issue, I think Adkins may continue with him at RB for this weekend as he has the pace and quality to hopefully deal with Baines and Pienaar. His pace and positioning is much better than Richardson and although FR didnt put a foot wrong v Villa, their left wing isnt as strong as Everton's is going to be.
-
I agree. They are nowhere near getting into the game yet. Leeds dominating. Leeds look very organised, well drilled and everything else you'd expect from a Neil Warnock side. Everton on the other hand are the complete opposite, all over the place, no joke.
-
I know I put Lambert, I know. Now changed to Rodriguez if you'd all like to update your quoted posts to make me look perfect or you can leave them and continue to make me look stupid
-
Upfront. Same formation as Saturday (from what I can gather listening to Saints Player). Seems to be the new formation we are moving to which everyone on here has been wanting and suggesting since the start of the season!
-
Just an observation, watching the Leeds v Everton game, and Everton have a team out with alot of first teamers playing. Gonna be hard for them Saturday if tonights tie goes to extra time for them!

Name: Dominic Gape Position: Midfielder D.O.B: 09/09/1994 Hard working and tough tackling central midfielder who has been with the club since he was 7 years-old. He previously played local football in Weymouth, and hopes to work on his pace and communication skills whilst developing as a scholar.

Where did you get it from? Looks a very strong line-up. Gonna give our lot a tough game without doubt.

I'm 100% with you on this. I can understand a charge for credit cards due to the fact you are paying 'on credit' but paying by debit card, as I will end up doing for any potential cup games, I should not be charged. It comes directly from your account. If you have funds, the transaction is accepted, if you don't, it is rejected. I cannot see the need for a £1.50 fee for debit cards, really I can't. I know there are organisations out there that infact advise customers to pay by debit card where possible to avoid credit card charges.

They said the same on Sunday Supplement this morning. Said they were surprised he was our number 1 goalkeeper for the Man City game. They thought we would've strengthened this position and they even said Adkins knew we needed a new GK hence the pursuit of Jack Butland. Boruc is a top, top signing. Will give Gazzaniga a good run for his money initially but after 4 or 5 games, I can see Boruc becoming a permanent feature in our side. These are the sort of signings that should've been done within 2/3 weeks of the window opening but its done now and as others have already said, he has the ability to win us points on his own. Really pleased.
-
Seems unrealistic but got a funny feeling it might be v Everton next weekend. Will be extremely tough but we showed yesterday with Ramirez and Yoshida, we look much better going forward but also much tighter in defence.

Seems to me all of a sudden since the end of last season and start of this one, he always seems to favour shooting with his left foot? The amount of times (I've lost count) he has broke through down the left, cut inside and got it onto his right foot ready to curl it and have a shot, he always seems to do ANOTHER Cruyff turn back onto his left and then either slices it or puts it well wide. Extremely infuriating. Apart from that, his build up play has been exceptional up until the final 1/4 of the pitch.
