No Boruc.

3-0 win. Just the kickstart we need!

I think 2 CB's are crucial. A RM/RW eg Matt Phillips, Lens, Zaha. Also a new LB to compete with Fox and Shaw. Apart from that I think we're ok.
-
Boruc. Got experience and once he gets a run in the team, there will be no looking back IMO. Needs the game time to get fit etc.
-
I shall suggest something similar.

Months loan agreed according to Sky Sports http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11684/8237173.

@SimonPeach: Still all quiet on the #SaintsFC front in regards to Adkins. Don't doubt things are tense behind the scenes, though, given the situation.
-
Yes? No?

Spurs hadn't scored at St Mary's until last Sunday. That stat re: WBA unfortunately means nothing. I think we'll draw 2-2.

Exactly how i'd play it. Strong defensive setup with Cork hopefully back in and Davis offering that extra bit of protection in a proper midfield 3. Ramirez and Lallana offer the ability to drift in and out and as you said, rotate with each other to create a fluid attacking movement. Rigid defensive setup, do your own job first. fluid attacking movement, float and get on the ball in the attacking 1/3 and cause issues.

Why cant we just promote someone already at the club... anyone guessed yet? JAIDI! Why not?! He's already employed by the club, forget the youngsters for the time being and sort out the first team FFS! Prem and international experience. Surely worth a punt? No worse than whoever we've currently got doing it.
-
Just tried it again and straight on no issues. Still playing up for some?
-
I got on eventually. I'm on Mac using Safari and it just hung there for a couple of minutes but eventually loaded. Must be something Saints' end. Once on, the videos work fine.

Sums up our players mentality at the moment IMO. Rchap04: Sorry we couldn't get the result for all you traveling fans, hope you all have a safe drive home! Forget the result, the performance was shocking, gutless, lack of effort. If we'd lost 1-0 but gave it a good go, I'd be fine due to the team we put out but that wasnt good enough and our players seem like they arent particularly bothered
-
Said it after Everton. We are in a massive slump and the longer we leave it, the less time we have to shake it up
-
Totally with you. Pardew was banging on about winning mentality from day one he walked into the club. He always said that a losing mentality is too easy for the players. They accept defeat and arent too worried about it as they are getting paid at the end of the day. He always put out a near enough first XI team for every game to get the team winning and used to winning. Winning becomes a habit and he set the foundations for 2 extremely successful winning seasons. A win breeds confidence, exactly what we need in our current situation. A win would've been invaluable tonight at such a tough place to go. Another defeat and the players become accustomed to it. They begin to accept "we aren't good enough" and no matter who plays, the whole club will slump and once you are in a losing habit, it is a pig to get out of.

By watching on Sky it seems they have the whole of the end stand. They all look stunned lol!

Simon Peach @SimonPeach Could this be the last we see of Boruc at #SaintsFC? Club statement says they are taking the allegations "extremely seriously". Simon Peach @SimonPeach Boruc allegedly threw a bottle at home fans & swore at them on what was his home debut for #SaintsFC. Simon Peach @SimonPeach #SaintsFC investigating Artur Boruc incident on Sunday. Decision expected before the week is out. Severe sanctions are being considered.

I don't get the major concern regarding this. Ok, I feel he is our best keeper but not by much over Boruc & Davis, but if he isn't going to be playing here, he is best off going out on loan. The longest he can go for at the moment is 3 months, and during this period we will have a 24 hour recall option on it. We have nothing to lose. He is a young keeper who needs game time and a team like Bristol City could be a decent shout as they will ultimately concede goals and he'll get plenty of practice. Of course he'd potentially get plenty of chances to save shots here but he wont if he isn't playing! My only concern with the situation is if Gazza goes on loan to be an option alongside their keeper and not as his replacement, then really he is going to Bristol City to do the same job he's doing here which is a waste of everyone's time. We saw what happened to Bart when he didnt play games. Do we really want the same to happen to Gazza?

Harry Redknapp to be named manager within 3 weeks
