  1. for all that dont understand satire, it was a joke.
  2. what's the 80's got to do with the issues of today? in all seriousness??? other than scare scaremongering people off the torys if that's what your trying to achieve? because people could make a thread saying 'research the last 13 years before you vote' in exactly the same vane...
  3. when will we ever over throw Gordon Mugabe?
  4. What really bugs me is when you hear these politicians from the left (both lib and lab) saying 'we need to tax the rich' ...'those that can pay should have to pay' ...errrr am I missing something??? So because I've worked hard all my life and somebody else in Rotherham or somewhere has sat on their arse claiming job seekers I'm left sat in Hampshire footing the bill? This is exactly what's wrong with a Labour government and exactly what's wrong with the country at the moment. Whoever thinks the public sector could exist without the private sector is an idiot, its funded on taxes, taxes that wouldn't be paid without the private sector, so to give the public sector more important makes no sense? ITS RELIANT. So anyway Andy, I know your giving it your all to convince us that Labour or the Liberals are worth sticking with/voting for, but why should I have to foot the bill? Why should I have to pay 'just because I can' ...surely that's not the 'fairness' that the Liberals are advocating?! No ...they mean fair as in anyone with money pays more so no one go's without, that's essentially communist ideals, and we are all left with no money ...way to inspire people to do something with their lives, no just sit round in a house with 18 kids and someone else will pay 'because they can' ...As a side mark, at least David Cameron is saying 'we are all in it together' and 'lets roll up our sleeves on friday' not ...you can do f*** all and get away with it
  5. i was gonna say ...work of genius? we are hardly living in some utopia .. how can anyone make judgements like that yet? its just slander to make people thing browns done a better job than he really has ...what about the other issues? e.g. immigration ....yeah browns a genius
  6. at the end of the day, labour have had their chance, 13 years to make this country better, and all anyone can talk about is how it's got progressively worse, so that's two options, the lib dems or the tory's ...and you have to say, despite nick clegg being great on camera, his party's politics has holes in it all over the place, and that leaves you with one credible option, yes david cameron looks abit of a toff and comes across smarmy, but he's speaking the most sense out of the lot in my opinion ...and we need people that are going to make the right decisions, not appear best on camera or identify with the 'common man' ...(as a side note I think cameron does actually identify with the common man, its just his image that holds him back)
  7. i know we have to have a winning mentality, but boys we cant EXPECT to win every game, even united and barcelona slip up against the minnows now and then, just for future reference ... it isnt the end of the world if we lose a game here n there

  12. the thing that i'm confused about is how the polish know so much about our politics, every day of the week now i'm hearing 'the polls this' 'the polls say that' ...baffling
  13. thinking of betting on the general election? have a read http://10totengrand.blogspot.com/2010/04/election-betting-where-are-good-odds.html just some suggestions let me know what you think, was having a look at it all the other day
  14. labour will make a few shock gains they always do
  15. I think the Lib Dems are being found out to an extent..., but there's also a vast amount of people that are getting carried on the crest of the wave for 'change' as it were in this country,... change in the sense that the Lib Dems are always the third party and this time there's a sense of the under dog spirit. Like Obama had at the start of his campaign...never had a black man been president before, I think there's a vast amount of people that simply don't want to find out the ins and outs of the Lib Dem policies... because if they do, they would probably find they don't agree with many of them... I know people that are planning on voting for them just because they like Clegg (or moreover they don't like the other two) ...they are planning on voting Liberal and they aren't even really interested in politics, that's a hell of a thing for the Torys and Labour to be up against ...
  16. i need a poo
  17. 2-1 saints, awkward win, COYR
  18. I think if it's going to be anyone, it will be Charlton, you'd have to say that the momentum is probably with Huddersfield now after coming back from dead in the Walsall game and the confidence they would of gained by beating an inform Millwall on a friday night.. Charlton are going to struggle against Exeter I think, possibly a loss or a draw there, Leeds is an unpredictable game to call, and I've got a funny feeling that Charlton will lose to Oldham on the last game of the season, last games are always a bit funny ...especially for teams with nothing to play for I.E. Oldham ...they often win because they are more relaxed about the game ...its definitely possible, I think Saints will their own worst enemy's as usual and end up only drawing one of the games maybe even another freak loss, as usual I hope I'm wrong...
