I clicked the 'yes' option to buying a season ticket in the poll, then actually read the prices and realized the lack of payment plan ... Now I wish I had clicked 'No' because the only way I can get a season ticket is via some sort of payment plan, I'm a post grad with no savings or serious salary yet and fully intended to support SFC by buying a season ticket and paying as I go ...but that wont be possible now and will probably not go to many games either because 27 pound (30 if you consider charges) is just too much for league 1. For what its worth my parents are screwed too because they usually buy a couple of season tick's each (and for my little brother) and I don't think they will jump at those prices. So indeed, in mine and my family's circumstances, SFC has probably lost a few regular bums on seats (and we have had season tickets every season since way back at the Dell) Totally deflated.

I think Swindon have the rub of the green and the momentum, after going through on pen's like that they have to be thinking they have the will of the God's and I think they will go through. To be honest Millwall and Swindon both have the capacity to be a thorn in our side next year so not really bothered who go's up, and its sort of irrelevant anyway, we have to ahve the mentality that we are going to win every game, we will only get automatic promotion if we manage to get that mentality next season and see it through ... Which knowing saints I'm not sure we will, so I'm thinking we will get automatiuc promotion but in 2nd spot lol

Other than that, surely Matty's comments were born out of confusion out of a lack of a statement for so long about Pardews future? We have all been speculating on here for weeks now partly because of media hysteria (the echo) and partly due to the silence coming from the club i.e NC ...So although I'm happy he's finally come out and given a solid statement showing he's one hard mother ..I don't think he can turn round and say its not fair that people like Matty have been giving Pards their backing ...FFS we have all been in the dark for quite a while now, if you have known this was going to be the set up for next season all along, why not give the statement earlier and nip it in the bud? After all, it's not like it's an end of season statement where he talks much about the future, its mostly concerned with clearing up the rumors, so why now and not a week or so ago when the rumors were really getting moment? Perhaps he just doesn't like to be rushed... Either way, I'm happy he's done the business as a professional chairman like him would, but not over joyed at the somewhat ironic digg's at our idol when he is the one that has helped perpetuate the rumors by taking so bloody long to respond.
