  1. Not really. Because they simultaneously claim the euro is going to collapse (because of the contradictions of having a monetary union without a fiscal union). Its difficult to have it both ways pal. Never mind it has little relevance to countries outside the eurozone. What original post? The Heritage Foundation guff?
  2. In other words, the existential weakness of the euro and eurozone is a lack of EU integration. Yet the boffins on here keep telling us that the EU is a federal superstate.
  3. Baseline for a worst case scenario - what does that even mean? Best case - base case - worst case. Its not hard to follow.
  4. Project Fear. Osborne. Punishment Budget. Cleggy. EU Army blah blah blah.
  5. Given that Yellowhammer was intended only for internal consumption and not to be shared with the public, so it’s a bit odd to talk about project fear. Who were civil servants trying to persuade or scare - each other? Or as ever was it just their best reading of the situation with the facts at hand.
  6. I thought soggy had principles. They might have been misguided and self-righteous but they were, at least, consistent. It turns out he’s just a contrarian, attention-seeking nob.
  7. You know the old duffers and oddball culture war types on here better than they know themselves.
  8. Do you seriously think the likes of John ever had a closely-argued, evidence-based argument for leaving the EU? This is a useful reminder that for many Brexit was never about the facts.
  9. Another grooming victim.
  10. Which was promptly cancelled.
  11. [video=youtube;iPIjT-zdryY] Still genius
  12. Apart from Boycott's commentary being utterly self-referential. Botham deserved a knighthood just for deliberately running him out against NZ and f**king up his average.
  13. I didn't mean everyone Shroppie
  14. Morning Les. It’s a fact that there’s a generational divide to Brexit and parents and children take very different positions over it, so I was simply asking about your situation (after you claimed your support for Brexit was #allaboutthekids). No more no less. Try not to let torrid Tuesday turn into wretched Wednesday pal
  15. Phil Hogan has been made the new EU trade commissioner. A bit cheeky bantz from the EU there.
  16. Are your kids embarrassed of your views Les? Do they know the utter s**te you post on here? It wouldn’t be the first time it’s happened.
  17. Bercow held some distasteful views in his youth which he repudiated pretty early on and then spent the rest of his career fighting against. There’s zero hypocrisy because there was nothing for Labour and pinkos to turn a blind eye to. It’s self-evident. Then again LD is self-evidently stupid.
  18. Les is like a s**t Medusa with his exasperating mediocrity and pigheadedness. You know you’re above it but he still manages to rope you into the most barren and futile of conversations. It’s quite a talent really.
  19. Les having a torrid tuesday.
  20. Hello pal. Come to join the fun?
  21. Bercow's always one step ahead.
  22. Ivan Rogers is an alumnus of my old school (and so is Benny Hill).
  23. He can't admit he's swallowed the official line hook, line and sinker and has boxed himself into a corner, unable to struggle to explain why waiting a month for a GE means the opposition is running scared. What a bloke in a chicken suit will do to some of the more impressionable on here
  24. Coutinho And Craig MacKail Smith;)
