Hypo all over the place

I know you’re an oddball Christopher but if you think the podcast is irrationally positive, you’re crazier than I thought. Grant is a natural curmudgeon and sceptic while Leitch consistently tells it how he sees it -whether it’s the failings in previous recruitment, behind-the-scenes uncertainty or tempering expectations around Ralph despite his close links to the club. The presenter tries to probe the others views by outlining the case for the other side but that’s simply a common and sensible interviewing technique. I don’t listen, watch or read much, if any, fan-created material which finds itself having to take more extreme and cartoonish positions to differentiate itself from traditional media but the podcast is an exception and it gets the balance and coverage just about spot on.

Where’s the fighting talk gone big man? Namely how the teams of Pellegrino and Hughes were on a par with those of Poch and Koeman but had been horribly let down by poor management. All it needed was a decent manager to unlock the potential and talent in the squad. Some might think that with risible and disproven views like that, you would look in the mirror and show a bit more humility rather than find another opportunity to criticise our fans.

Who said the swivels didn’t have facts and evidence on their side

Very unlikely May’s WA with a few cosmetic changes (at least the minor changes that May was willing to entertain) would pass now.

Time would be tight but in principle it could.

What Parliament wants is irrelevant if the maths and make-up are changed. It will depend whether the electorate as a whole wants no deal (a deal) and how those preferences interacts with the eccentricities of FPTP.

Would it be nonconsensual? Could be a winner with climate change sceptics like Lord Duckhunter.

Can i have whatever you’re on pal.

Dear leader was at the NFL yesterday (presumably not at the football). Don’t expect an invite to the curry club anytime soon pal.

And those cunning decisions were taken under Kat - you can find fault with Goa for a lot of things; but rocking the boat isn’t one of them. The club’s structures, philosophy and direction of travel are basically the same. If anything, Goa deserves praise for calling time on Bunsen and Beaker.

It was absolutely embarrassing. Les Reed grinning away as if he had defied business gravity, that we could consistently beat market and find diamonds in the rough that nobody else was smart enough to find and then sell them at eye-watering prices. It’s the type of bollôcks you hear from snake oil salesmen and fans of Ponzi schemes.

London hospitals do antenatal appointments and classes on weekends.

Goa has basically followed the same strategy as Kat (we’re also no longer net spend champions which was a cert under Kat). The difference is that Kat lucked out -first in having a bumper crop of academy players to sell and second in enjoying a brief spell of fantastic recruitment that many foolishly felt could be repeated ad infinitum. These were always shaky foundations on which to sustain long-term growth, leaving very little margin for error. Some regression to the mean was inevitable. A few transfer duds (that at best couldn’t be recycled for a profit and at worst became a drag on the wage bill) and there would be pressure on the owner to dip into their pocket to ensure sufficient quality on the pitch. Kat knew it and that’s why she got out, preferring to let someone else take on the risk in the name of taking us to the next level. The idea that she somehow stipulated that Goa spend x amount on the playing squad, on the other hand, is for the birds.

Because Nolan’s line of work presumably leaves a carbon footprint if he’s sourcing fruit and veg from around the world and the food industry is among the most exposed sectors to climate change and related government policy.

I think that’s what last season was about -come in, stabilise the team, play 3CBs (not his preferred setup), be pragmatic and keep us up. Then use a full summer with the squad to make changes and embed his preferred 4-2-2-2. Given that we struggled with 4-2-2-2 last season, there was bound to be growing pains moving to it this season -and that’s even before you get into the quality of the squad.
-
How’s the fruit and veg business pal?
-
Remember him getting his big break at Chelsea last season because Ralph thought he was better at coming off his line and mopping up play than McCarthy...

Roger loves a good rumour.

He’s learnt well from Uncle Les in the art of media management and self-promotion.

Wouldn’t be surprised (if true) it has something to do with the latter - from personal experience lets just say the mainland Chinese don’t have a great reputation for paying on time or whats contractually obligated.
-
Not sure if true (I’m dubious) and, if so, what it relates to but unless there were very specific guarantees about investment (unlikely) it seems the type of thing that would be unenforceable or very hard to prove. I suspect the reality is much more prosaic and the issue is about process or her rights rather than anything strategic or substantive regarding how the club is run as a whole - never mind whether Goa is investing enough
-
In other words, we weren’t hoofing it enough.

At least, Glasgow ‘Born Again’ Saint was there - I hear the HT queues for food and drink were horrendous.

Let’s have 20 pages of Danso songs instead.
