  1. If Pearce continues as he has started I would be more worried about losing him. He seems better in the air than the others and showed us how to score to boot. Cork would be missed but he has not played as well as Pearce did in his sole start for us.
  2. Perfect summing up.
  3. I second that.
  4. Only because he couldn't scratch with it on.
  5. If others are worse of than us then maybe Lowe is not doing as badly as we have thought. Maybe we could be in a position soon to steal players from other clubs who have monetary problems instead of us having them taken.
  6. If they did this for the same reason for the next few matches I'm sure the fans would be ecstatic. We would be charging up the table. As for the club they wouldn't mind because the shirts would be moving from the club and count as sales. So yes it would be a double whammy. Bigger gates and regular sales.
  7. After today's fantastic result it is possible we could reach a safe mid table position this season. The club has shown that despite our perilous financial position it still has some fight in it. Bigger gates would help us stave of a worsening of our position financially and give a big boost to our young team. So is it not our job as Southampton football club supporters to do just that, support? Sky will be at St Marys next week so let's show everyone that we support the team and help them get over our Sky jinx.

I don't really cre how Oscar pronounces his name if he keeps getting in opponents faces. Won't be long before he has a nickname anyway. Good start let's not overplay him.
  9. Ecstatic. I know that it only means 3 points in the end but the way we got them was incredible. Preston were given both their goals by our poor defending in the first half. Pearce played a blinder and looked like a good signing. Good result and I am raising my glass as I write. More of the second half please lads. Reading are doing well and if they keep on winning perhaps we will be able to hang on to Pearce for a little while longer than January.
  10. Davis Cork,Lancashire,Pearce,Skacel, Thomson,Wotton,Euell,Surman, DMG,Robertson
  11. Steve we might not get one from those but Wigan have one coming back from injury that they want to loan out for a month or to. can't remember his name at the moment unfortunately.
  12. St Marco thankx you have answered a lot of questions that I and a lot of others have had. NickG is it not possible for the administrators to have a say as to who would return? If only in the fact that the buyer/s would have to show money available to cover costs for the then foreseeable future.
  13. Davis,Schneiderlin,Lallana and Surman going in January. Nice touch .
  14. How many current ST hoders will be prepared to buy their tickets early if we are fighting to stay up?
  15. We couldn't sell Lowe if we tried. However the next question is, can we pay him to go? But if we could who will take over. I don't like the man for what is happening to our club but he is not solely responsible. My main concern is will we be better off without him, or will we carry on in our downward spiral who ever takes over?
  16. Administration is a possibility but we won't die, SFC will live on. That one thought is what keeps a lot of us going.
  17. Correct me if I am wrong but surely that is a contradictionPersonally I feel that Quisling is much to friendly with regards to Wilde
  18. That I'd like to see
  19. Badger I agree that he was not compelled to sell. However if the people removing him couldn't get his shares they should have left it alone. They made a bad mistake coming in and once found out they allowed him to get back in. Empty promises have been made over and over again. All I know is that given the choice I would not have allowed it to happen if it had been me doing the ousting. If he didn't sell his shares I would not have moved in. Plus if I was unable to afford the extra purchases I would not have gone ahead either.
  20. Quick thought. Would the council allow our ground to be removed for something like Tesco's.
  21. I was amazed to see Wilde leaving the ground without his leash, Lowe must be convinced he has him fully trained. Every time one of them talks you get the feeling that they are not telling it as it is.(being polite) I have thought for a long time about the way we are heading and not felt comfortable. Playing boys against men will never work unless the boys are way more talented. Even then they will have to have a backbone. Ours clearly don't and aren't. The smell of deceipt is rife and I am sure I am not alone in smelling it. Administration is pending along with the distinct possibility of relegation. With a team as weak as ours I feel we would struggle to survive if we go down. A points deduction and a poor team is not something that appeals. When we are put into administration who will be there to take over? Lowe? Is it his plan to drown us and then rebuild with even more power? The thought frightens me yet at the same time the name Leeds comes to mind. Trouble is there are others and they are still in trouble if not departed. Several money making ideas have been aired on this site by us members(not including me as a newcomer) of this forum. Share issue, selling raffle tickets, and other ideas too many to enter. All come from the man in the street. The supporters of our club. The shareholders seem oblivious to our needs or the trouble that this club is in. The more I look for a reason it is the one I've already given that springs to mind. PLEASE TELL ME I AM WRONG.
  22. I think that the biggest mistake was getting rid of Lowe and letting him keep his shares. If the new board members couldn't afford them they shouldn't have taken over. Without his shares he surely wouldn't have been able to get back in would he?
  23. Wilde comes out and gives an interview saying all is under control. We are letting an experienced pro go but have brought in 5 or 6 loanies of which half don't even get a game. Where is the logic. Surely if we had returned some we could have kept John and with a 4 4 2 formation tried to score enough to win a few games.
