For their goal just look at Manning - two passes out - really, really bad indecisive defending. It’s Manning at his absolute worst. I know he’s also got his pluses, but if you fail to close down and defend your own box then you don’t deserve to start a game of football in my eyes.

It’s going to be a VERY difficult second half with Boro going out with as much shithousery as they can muster. Just hope the Ref has enough balls to recognise what they’re about. We seem to be starting games slowly and feeling our way in. This was challenged by a high press from Boro in 1st leg, aided by Saints being fixated on trying to play out from the back which didn’t work well and when it was launched long, Larin was left isolated. Get these things right and we’ll be ok.

Seen a story that it was an intern working for Saints but that his actions were entirely his own initiative to try to impress. Sounds feasible.
