For some reason Gabbiadini wasn't marking anyone for any of City's corners. He was just kind of zonally marking an area of the 6 yard box, which seemed very strange, particularly when he was nearer to the front post and therefore easy to clear with a decent delivery.

I realise that these posts are tongue in cheek (or at least I hope so) but... Let's say he earns an average of $40,000 a week for 10 years. It would take over 400 years for someone earning £50,000 a year to earn that much money. Obviously doesn't take tax into account but still!

To be fair, there is a vast difference between the way we are playing now and how we were playing at the beginning of the season. There are obviously a number of reasons for this improvement but I think it's fair to say we did put in some poor performances at the start of the season.

Tadic seems to always be the most passionate celebrator of our goals as well. Hopefully now he is being played in his favoured position and has not been subbed off for the last couple of games, he will be happy to stay.

Watched it online from Aus. The handball was a definite penalty- he moved his arm towards the ball and changed its flight. The challenge on Long was debatable but probably would've been given as a FK if it was outside the box. And Davis probably did foul Zaha before our equaliser- I would be pretty ****ed off if that had gone against us. Saying that, we played on and a lot of their players just stopped.

I understand JRod's frustration at being subbed (albeit after a pretty mediocre performance) but he really needs to stop having a strop every time he gets taken off.

Never quite understood the criticism he received towards the end of his career at saints because of his injuries. I remember people slagging him off on his final lap of honour, during which he was very emotional. He had a lot of bad luck but will always be a legend, especially for that goal against the skates.
