I think it goes both ways, if I were Koeman I think personally Id let him run his contract down. Surely he is only going to command a modest 4-5m fee, perhaps less ? For me I think Id rather have him in the squad untill the end of the season, unless of course things have changed and there is a new incoming player. Reed isnt there yet. But generally we have Vic, Morgan and Toby if required that can play deep. Add Davis as a stop gap too. So we wont be overreliant straight away for young harry. But it would allow him a proper progression route. Id say the bargaining power goes both ways. We arent as reliant as we were on him and his contract is running down.

This Shame to see him go but like you say Reed has effectively put the nail in his coffin. Been a grear servant for the club but Morgan, Davis and Vic are better players for the team and JWP and Reed are great young players that need time. Will be good to get a fee and allow him to get first team football

Theres a lot of talent playing in holland/belgium at the moment, they also tend to be cheaper than their big league alternatives. Its not rocket science to believe that our transfer comittee is seriously looking at that area
