You'd get Depay for around 12-14m Much better option

You always have been a houlier than thou pillock

Kane Id take definately, I think he has the potential to be a v good player. Townsend Im a bit Meh about. We are linked with two wingers that are similar, one being Redmond and the other Townsend. Im sure there is better out there than those two, but if I had to pick one it would probably be townsend

Which is how the 'committee' has worked for a few years

The majority really, Mitchell was in charge of putting together and oversee a recruitment department that included our now highly thought of scouting networks as well as helping to develop the facilities that we have as part of the player analysis and recruitment side at the new staplewood. So likelyhood is he was directly involved in most if not all of the last few years worth of player and staff recruitments. He has an excellent name in the game and it has been reported that Manè, Tadic and Pellè were all on the radar before Koeman. Im not saying he isnt replaceable, he probably is. But it will be a blow. Saying he has done very little is shortsighted in reality

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-want-harry-kane-andros-4644397 Apparantly any deal to spurs would need to include both Townsend and Kane If he was to leave Id definately take that

I agree with the first comment re chambers, saying he wouldnt get a game for us is laughable, he kept clyne out of the side for a lot of last year, though Clyne is the better RB, arguably Chambers will be a v v good CB But realistically Long IS better value for us, J Rod is injured and behind Pelle we have nothing (even if SG was fit), so in that respect Long gives us competition and a better option then we would have had should Pelle be injured

Im not sure he does, he is just protecting what he has. A talent at football. If I did something at work and was banned from working on electrical networks Id be worried at what my alternative was, eventually Id find something but it wouldn't be as lucrative. So in that respect I understand why he is trying to get back into football. Its hard to argue that he isnt sorry about whats he is done, if, its correct that he is appealing again, an expression of remorse could be taken as an acceptance of guilt. That said, I stand by the fact that he is in the public eye and so could be used as a role model, and as such Id hope professional clubs steer clear

I see we have started the white wash

Which part of it is gobbledegook ?

Thats the point of appointing a proper backroom team that has a job of finding players that suit the system. The same as we have. When all were talking about what formations Koeman would be playing with us I pointed out that it wouldnt be vastly different to what we were already playing. Its no mistake that Adkins, Poch and Koeman all play in similar ways (though with a few differences) whilst you look at Spurs and the differences in tactics between Sherwood, Redknapp, AVB and Poch. What Spurs need is continuity, and for that you need a recruitment team that bring in the right players and staff (that transfer comittee everyone hated a few years ago ) which I imagine is why he has brought in Mitchell, and no doubt some more to bolster that backroom department. Most modern forward thinking clubs will operate this way, as, like you say, otherwise it just ends up a mess with eaxh manager wishing to buy players that dont necessarily fit the system of the previous etc

Sorry Have I missed something, what the **** is the black box ?

Its definately a shame as he is obviously highly thought of in the game and by us. You cant blame him entirely though, Levy has made his intentions known that he requires a shake up of his scouting department and that would certainly be an excited prospect. Add to that the fact that they are a bigger club and the bright lights of london. I cant blame him too much really, though Id suggest working under Levy wouldnt be my ideal port of employ. Will it damage us ? In reality I dont know if any of us actually know. I imagine he has had a hand in all of our recruitment and the setting up of our scouting networks, my immediate thoughts are those of losing somemore of that if Mitchel walks out of the door. It also has the potential to damage our recruitment this close to january though Id like the think the majority of target aquisition is done. Id say we are pretty good at recruiting the right people, though that may or may not have been through Mitchel. Overall Im not worrying too much, people move on, we have recovered before. Lets not lull ourselves into some false reality in which you can have an exodus often and survive, we did tue extraordinary over the summer, I wouldnt condone a continuation of that policy

Very true scotty, footballs full of grade a w*nkers. The game has no morals. I expect Mr Evans to play his first game after xmas

You are the one coming across as an utter tool here pal, hope that helps. Seriously what does it matter if there's the odd spelling mistake and why the need to get all high and mighty about it? Pathetic Deppo always has been a funny ****er
-
Turns out idiots earn good money then, whodafunkit
-
Alternatively I could pick up minor spelling mistakes on what was largely a rushed post on a mainly meaningless internet forum but frankly I have too much else to be getting on with to be worried about such trivial things. Whatever turns you on I suppose

I think personally its a good idea to invest, at the end of the day if your are getting contributions from the taxman and your empoyer then why not ? Do any of us know what the future holds ? Not yet, maybe there will be a crash, maybe not. All I can do is speculate that the pension I am putting money in to will be enough when I retire. Ive been paying in since I started with my company 7 years ago now, I also pay into the sharesave and SIPs schemes that they run at work, as realistically that will be worth more than my pension in the future. I also made the decision to buy a house at 20, it was hard being on the bones of my arse at that age but its worked out, Ive been able to upgrade twice now and happy in the home I bought 4 weeks ago now. Nobody knows the right answer, but I think its worth speculating at least a bit into your future
