Not entirely sure what the issue with that reaction is ? Dealing purely in facts we are in a worse position now then the end of last season and its what ? 2 weeks until the big k/off ? Whilst there is still time to bring some very able players in the upheaval in the squad will be difficult to overcome early in the season. Overall we will be ok however I personally think it will be a mid bottom finish. I cant see how this is an unreasonable viewpoint to have ? And one thats shared with the majority of the footballing world as a whole ?

Loving the fact that they are actually grilling him, krueger hasnt come out of this very well IMO. We have needed to have someone actually asking meaningful questions rather then just allowing him to talk his prepared speech. I think there are relevant negatives and positives on display here, anyone writing any info no matter whether it is pos or neg is for me an idiot that is either agenda driven point scoring or head in the sand nonsense.

Oh sorry i must have mistaken you for someone who has been banging on against anyone with a negative opinion these past few months I must be mistaken of course
-
Yup, predictably you are pretentious and presumptious. And believe you have somehow been elevated to the forum police, somewhat annoyingly.

Ffp basically says you are able to spend up until you make a loss of a set amount. Considering we have brought in roughly 90m in fees and saved whatever we have saved in wages I genuinely dont see it being an issue this year. Can anyone answer however whether the net spend only applies this year for FFP ? I.e our transfer income this year will not apply to next years spend ?

Simce when has scoring against Barcelona been the cornerstone to a successful player ? I dont see many bending over backwards to sign Watt

Having seen Gallagher play Id prefer us to have an alternative

Taïder Joins on 1 year Loan & Osvaldo to Inter - Official

Got to agree and is how I see it The signing of taider for me just confirms we are losing a cm somewhere, which makes the signing all the more pointless as I find Cork, Vic and Morgan to be of better quality. -
Its not just there alps, we must be atleast 4 players of quality short, quite how they are aiming to integrate them within 2 weeks is another matter Also, we have been told that we are looking at spending the entire 70m (minus average wages so around 50m fees) on playing staff. If we bring in schelotto and taider on loan then are we going to buy another two players at an average value of 20m ? Its not going to happen is it ?

I think he would be a decent signing personally..... But not at a reported 14m
-
Id struggle to find a better connected thread to our lack of swiftness in the transfer market then the transfer thread TBH Odd that you would choose to quote what I said.
-
Well Im certainly not indebted to them for the predicament we find ourselves in. You cannot integrate 5-6 players in 4 weeks.
-
Im still going to give them until the end of the week to attempt to get some decent incomings. However trying to placate us with ultimately poor squad players or even worse more outgoings for me will signal just how poor a position we are in right now.
-
You cant handle the truth........!!! That said it was a hilariously OTT reaction
-
Um..... It kinda does
-
TBF if it were one of them Id of skipped it !!

Its hardly laughable, he barely played in a floundering utd team that had Rooney and RVP out for most of last season, also struggles to get regular action for Mexico right now. As much as he is an excellent poacher that is about all he has in his locker, build up play and hold up is virtually non existant. Now, potentially he could play off pelle but that IMO would be incorperated into the 433 and so wont be as effective. Besides, we'll already have J Rod for that. Id much rather pay for a natural wide man and another CF who can play the system rather than spend 15m and god knows how much a week on a bloke that happens to be half decent on fifa

Players we nearly signed but you're glad we didn't

Could've bought Forlan for 300k, instead we sunk 3.2m into ecuador -

Just said this on the transfer thread. Its looking bleak for cork, which is a shame -
Taider looks a good prospect, but it worries be a tad, surely it spells the end for Cork or Schneiderlin. We are hardly in need of midfielders right now. Do inter not have any reasonable CBs or strikers ?
-
So has javier though
-
Id of said guarin was just the player utd needed right now
-
If this were the continent Id be more worried due to the 3rd part ownership ban that happens over here. Abroad I suppose there is nothing wrong with providing a top class academy and skinming off a percentage of transfer fees. Again that would have its issues as to how it would be run in reality with player registrations etc Ultimately I agree, its fantasy. Plus if you wanted to sell the club surely you would want to offer the highlight as part of the package to raise the price, and if you wanted to just make constant profit then you would keep the academy running. Its madness, but my point was it 'could' happen, as unrealistic as it was
-
Still not enthused about the hernandez link, but will be reasonably happy should it get over the line dependant on the package we offer. It gives us another option, I just dont find him fitting into the 433 system we will employ. And anyway, surely a deal for hernandez wont be far off a package we could put together for Bony ? So why arent we sniffing around him instead ?

Dont see why not, it would be massively contraversial and I cant remember a situation like it but there is no rules against the purchase of a facility as far as Im aware
