This really, I dont buy Guideds waffle at all. Look at any comparative clubs sponsorship income the last two years and we are their with the other mid sized clubs. Also corperate entertainment was selling ok. You cant and dont build big revenue streams in the championship. Surely however if you are attempting to bring in more sponsorship and corperate revenue streams the demolition of the prized assets isnt a particularly intelligent way to go about it. The financials show our wage bill was not massive by any stretch of the imagination and another top ten finish would have brought in a further 60m payout in the form of tv revenue and so effectively paid off the playing debt (of which were hardly groundbreaking lets be honest) This arguement is wishy washy at best and another aimed at passing the buck to the ex chairman from the new.

To be honest its as bad a viewpoint as calling out the wristlitters, if you think we genuinely couldnt do anything about outgoings Im afraid you are just plain wrong, and if you think its a realistic scenario to lose 6 maybe 8 1st team players then I dont even know where to start. Never mind the head burying over blackmore, countless posters on here and a few of the players coming out and questioning ambition, communication and dressing room unrest. There is certainly a big level of money and moving on here, but ultimately its the manner within which players seem desperate not to play here thats worrying me. I said before this will be a very difficult situation to manage as a lack of bullish behaviour from the board will alert other clubs and pretty much put the players firmly in control. We have managed it very poorly and are in serious trouble

Which is exactly what I thought but the media continues to chuck around duch low salary figures for our players ? A. I cant believe they are that far off the mark but B. I cant believe they are paid so little

Considering reports put Morgans wages at around 10k and that Fonte is earning nowhere near the 35k offered by Cardiff then Id argue not an aweful lot. I just dont know what to believe anymore

Then that is a completely untenable situation to be in, all that means is that any player that suddenly isnt happy with his situation can just turn around and suggest he isnt happy. Its just rediculous. Id rather have a few unhappy players then the complete exodus we are in, there is no way a club can organise that bigger change in personel.

I fully expect that there have been plenty of times that havn't made it public like ours or their respective clubs have put the walls up. And thats just it, we are the only club that I remember in PL history get torn apart so quickly..... We must be so proud

And ignore the fact that blackmore, a few posters that have ears to the ground and Lovren have all spoken about the rifts between the players and the board ? Of course its all the players fault and those nasty clubs with cash, and obviously you can point at those many many clubs that have been in such a similar position ? I have no faith in this board

This You can sell 1 or 2 disruptive members if you have to but cant do that with your entire first 11. You need to ask why so many players are being disruptive Imo

Not heard names, fwiw talk of our targets is pretty positive, we are going for the right players which is why I dont believe the club is 'up for sale' however convincing decent players we are the right option and are progressive is becoming increasingly difficult
