Well originally my thinning mane came as a surprise and was met with a good few months of worry and vanity fuelled anger. Thankfully I then just decided to take a pair of hair clippers to the lot before it got too bad. This happened to be a good choice, and Ive soon found out I have a good shaped head for a baldy, backed up with a bit of a beard now. So Id of said its better to be a baldy then a short arse TBH

He played ok, he isnt a RB and it shows

Ih behave how often have you banged on about how crap welbeck is ffs ?
-
Or hoddle, rodgers is the best bet really, unless you go foreign. Though Rodgers is welsh I think ? Problem is, I reckon you'd struggle getting a big name that isnt just looking for a paycheck. Poor squad, high expectations

This And no its not about picking players that are... 'Good for their clubs' as all you get is a disjointed and different team every few games. Which is why the team needs to be kept roughly the same, players need to gel and thats v hard at int level. Quite frankly the current crop is less than bang average, easily the worst overall squad I have known in my lifetime. Summed up entirely by Rooney, who easily 'should' be our best player, has the ability but woefully out of form. Unfortunately, as much as Id like him dropped there isnt really anyone who is good enough to nail him to the subs bench. Its drab, hodgson is as inspiring as a toilet brush. And carrys on the old tradition of not picking players that fit the system

433, much better use of the players available I think.

How many ? Sinclair, richards, rodwell, johnson, johnson they're just the ones I remember

Just what I read, basically I did my usual 'Ill talk to the only manager that wants to help me' trick amd it worked. I know its just an invoice but apparantly latest advice is to use the templates to fight it
-
Its actually enforceable now, latest advice isnt to ignore them as they are starting to take you to court, but minimal fighting usually works.

The whole world these days is hinged on customer service these days, no more so then big business. I know that everything I do in my job now has to be centred around the customer and because of this I know other companies are very similar. Use that to your advantage. I recently had a row with mcdonalds hedge end over a parking ticket I got when in their premises. Despite the fact I was using the premesis (me and my boss had a meeting there, both of us are field engineers) when I politely asked if there was anything they could do I got their standard stock answer which was no. I usually deal with a situation like so; Can your manager deal with it ? No, can theres ? No, theres etc etc one of them will help you and many middle managers tend to crumble when you ask for their managers details. Needless to say there was something they could do Though realistically I think the cashier was essentially right in this case, though he didnt seem to deal with it very well, for whatever reason. Thank christ Im not in retail.

I can conclusively confirm simo isnt an england under 18 footballer

Anyone else getting this ? I must admit Ive not been this excited about a game since Skyrim probably. Very ambitious game that I think my wife is going to just about hate come christmas

Agree steve, and unfortunately any new boss woud have to work with the same grouo of players who, right now, arent good enough

Talking Tactics: Koeman gives Saints fans reasons to be cheerful

Yup think i can agree with that, I think we missed big Vic when he wasnt in the team under mopo for precisely the reason we were talking about, teams under pressure tended to hit longer balls to catch out the higher operating midfield. Vic's height and physicality added that extra buffer to the two centre backs who were often left exposed by our full backs. Koemans relaxed the high press, decided primarily as far as I can tell to drop the pressing line back towards the half way line. Now, I honestly think we may let more goals in this year but of course ultimately it could lead to you needed less of a defensive shape and hopefully, with less concentration spent on possession for possessions sake (which has its merits) should mean we will get more goals. -

Whats the best bread to bread with ? Bloomer ? French ? Precut loaf ? I imagine it depends on the toilet size and state. Pain au chocolate ?

Talking Tactics: Koeman gives Saints fans reasons to be cheerful

Well, he did go more direct, hence playing a long ball when things werent really working, which was his only real direct option considering the lack of pace we had. Stop pressing so high, yeah can see that, though it has its benefits, the high press essentially stops the formation of meaningful attacks, generally you need to play a longer ball against it which tends to be easier to defend. -

It wasnt entirely his team no, he bought poorly in Osvaldo though it was obviously he wanted a striker able to get in behind, unfortunately that was a massive flop but there you go. His other buys werent all that terrible, lovren of course was excellent. Sometimes thats just what happens, it happens to the big squads let alone the smaller ones, one thing I will say was we were always competetive. Aswell as I can almost guarantee there were very few teams that would have enjoyed paying us. As per the Bielsa part, just making sure you knew exactly who you were talking about, if we are going to talk about poch's tactics its worth getting ONE of his antagonists nanes correct, it wasnt however the only influence to his style. On amother note, Ive not exactly worked out whats got into you, you never used to be a bad poster but seem to have taken on a more arguementative version of adrians pretentious tit role. -

Um If you play a high press you tend to match that with a lit of possession as it allows thebpressing team to recover and the opposing team to continue to use energy attempting to regain the ball. I didnt see a lot of evidence of us tiring at the end of games.
