Considering chucking some cash on relegation, no matter what the incomings surely the upheaval of 5-7 outgoings is too hard to manage with the new season on the horizon

Im with you clarky, Ive never known you to be pessimistic about saints, like me you have always seemed to be pretty objective about all things saints Fact is, as a fan, ive never felt so distant from the club I love, a big part of me doesnt care anymore, I do t know whats gone wrong in the back corridoors but its obviously wrong

Id of said its pretty obvious it isnt a fire sale, and I think we will be clear of rekegation however I genuinely believe squad upheaval especially, what ? 5 weeks until the season is potentially very damaging indeed for preperation, for that instance I dont think you can completely rule out relegation however I think we will be clear, a bottom 10 finish for me though You cant really blame people for questioning the board, the level of departures worrying, damaging and personally I think points at certain rifts in the camp

If we arent looking to sell then the price is what we want. Using Kroos and Khedira as examples is just daft, transfer fees in the whole arent comparable. Is Morgan worth more then 20m ? No, but we arent looking to sell so he is worth whatever price a. We attach and b. The buyer is willing to pay

Possibly, IMO he is better than both lallana and shaw (different positions i know) and surely falls under the home grown category for squad registration, this must add the premium aswell. Personally I think he is our best player, lallana wasnt worth 25m, lovrens not worth 20m and in the same vain Schneiderlin isnt worth north of 20m but this should be a sellers market

I disagree with that TBH, Ive been openly critical of how the club have been handling exits (thats not an invitation to discuss it here BTW, plenty of other threads) I think that the players bought in and those we are looking at are perfectly acceptable. Pretty much the level we are aiming at. Money or not we arent likely to get a big big signing due to A. Not being one of the big boys and B. We wont be attractive after shifting our top players

At the right price it would be a good deal IMO

Whilst I agree with the pricing model the transfer window itself has absolutely no basis to how any finacial market models work. There is a supply and a demand but ultimately the fees are wildly different. For example, three names, carroll, lallana and kroos. The most expensive of which is the least talented and visa versa. Realistically we need a couple in the door to make ourselves attractive to those players that arent just interested in cash.

Once again you're far to busy riding you're high horse to see the actual points being made, that sort of comitment to your pretencious cause has to be applauded
