Going for top 6-8 every season would certainly be a success for a club our size however I cant see it happening this year, or next. If we consistantly strengthen season on season maybe but this window has taken us backwards. We may have more depth but the quality is less. Im not 100% convinced with Koeman yet. I think he will be decent but I just dont see him being as tactically sound as Poch. Hopefuly I am wrong Dont get me wrong, we will be ok this year, but I certainly dont see the comparisons with Everton
-
He is so boringly optimistic I dont really care what he thinks
-
We wont start very well due to squad upheaval, which is understandable really but eventually we will begin grinding out results. It looks like the brand of football that Koeman wants to play IMO wont make us as consistantly competetive as we were under Poch however it will arguably be more exciting with quicker transitions. We will take a few beatings I expect but I also expect the odd scalp Think we will finish around 12th or 13th. Potentially a decent cup run in there.

Is there a way to change the regions then ?

If you're going to worry about a missing comma on a message board Id suggest you have too much time on your hands
-
Dont worry about him too much DPS just enjoys the attention
-
What are you babbling on about exactly ?
-
What the hell are you on about ? Where have I said losing lallana leaves a gaping hole ? I have merely pointed out that lallanas contributions last year were more then insignificant ? Exactly what signing messi has to do with anything I dont know really ?
-
Dynamic, quick, loved a tackle, wanted the ball and has a decent first touch and a good range of passing Very impressed, reminded me a lot of schneiderlin
-
Just checking your ok ? Hoping welk didnt make it out of his bedroom with his hulk hogan t shirt on ?
-
Fan in rewriting history after player leaves shocker I think cb answered your point pretty well. Lallana was a big player for us and will undoubtedly be a big loss
-
Its crap grub anyway, overpriced rubbish. I dont even bother grabbing a beer at HT, I just cant be arsed, 4.50 for a carlsberg I need to cue for 20 mins for and leaves me with 2 mins to down ! Still, everyone to their own

Back from the game, and the brasserie We played 433 from what I could see with Wanyama just infront of the back four. We are a bit of a shadow of the team we were last year which is pretty understandable considering the players and manager we have lost. We are playing differently, more targeted long balls towards the front man and less posession as well as less pressing. We seem to be looking to play a quicker more counter attacking style with plenty of overlapping from the full backs. Its looking disjointed, again understandable, Id argue early season consistancy will be all ovr the place but I hood optimism. Boruc - barely anything to do really, distribution ok, it was hard to see performance for their goal from where I was Bertrand - decent, v quick, decent delivery, good in the tackle and available. Doesnt look fit enough for the wing back system yet but ultimately think he'll be good Fonte - solid, good in possession Yoshida - solid enough but lacked a lot of composure on the ball, wasnt as bad as made out but could definately have used the ball much better Clyne - solid and eager as usual, overlapped tadic well, that looks a strong wing Wanyama - tank, used the ball well, broke up everything, gave some pointless fouls away and wouldnt have escaped a booking in a league game JWP - great set piece delivery, ok on the ball but ultimately a bit anonamous Davis - works hard, links up well, always available, typically davis Isgroove - I was impressed last year and I am again, wouldnt necessarily be a starter for me but quick, puts in a shift and has potential Tadic - works v hard, good feet, good touch, you can see he has quality there but his final ball today was woeful Pelle - Bit of a unit, won everything in the air but frustratingly managed to give it away to much. Ultimately not a patch on lambert. He is more mobile but still seems incapable of getting behind his man Special mentions to; Taider - who very much impressed me, looks excellent, good on the ball, dynamic and loves a challenge (morgan mark II) Ramirez - has a lot of quality and worked hard, ultimately impressed Cork - did ok, nothing incredible, got down that tunnell quick at the end, worrying

Well.... I fear for sunday after this afternoon
-
I bought mine this morning as I was potentially going to work if the storms hit earlier then anticipated. They cost 12 quid each and paid with a debit card The club did a good job sorting out some geezers season ticket
-
Exactly Should be a decent effort from fm, still reckon 15-20 quid is priced right as generally the changes between ganes arent massive
-
The thing is, we need conformity to the way the club is set up. Hence why we wont play 352 or change much from the 4231/433 that we actually play This is how the team has been coached for the past few years and how the youth set up etc is progressed through. Its a proper model and protects against things like happened with QPR etc. Im not saying reed is necessarily the right person, but considering our transformation since league 1 Im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt
-
You and me both know that situation was entirely different. And he hasnt left last time I looked
-
Im not at all convinced by forster either TBH, he is ok, not great. And 10m is a big big fee.
-
Theres ways to test it out without paying 30 quid I reckon
-
If you look to the right theres a bar that scrolls up or down, I find it useful when skipping past certain posts containing a majority of ******** of which yours normally fall into the category of ! HTH
-
fair enough
-
There really isnt much point argueing about trivialities with you, you have missed the point by such a margin Im surprised we arent argueing about basketball. If you really believe, for instance, that Lampard, a man that chelsea willingly let go on a free and despite maybe playing 26 games (a little over half) of which Id argue the majority of which were sub appearances, is a bigger loss to chelsea then lallana is to us then you are very very wrong
-
Vorm only made 26 appearances, michu was mercurial last year (injured ?) but ben davies, yes, I missed him
-
So of a 38 game season they only really played around half or less then half ? Thanks for doing the hard work to prove my point
