  1. Looking at that Id say Utd did very very well considering the money spent, spurs.. Well... They love chucking money away
  2. Missus 'queued to get onto Currys website last night which I found quite tragic, even more so when she realised there was nothing on there she wanted
  3. Arent there christmas cards you can buy that you record your own message in ? If you dont mind it messy you could pull one out of them.
  4. Unfortunately that can be said both ways. Id argue that the decision to bring in Koeman and his 'boys' were one big mutual agreement.
  5. Doesnt always happen, I can honestly say I have been offered double my salary and turned it down. Id say its twofold, money and the challenge
  6. More money, a bigger club, in london and a chance to build it up with his own ideas. Its pretty obvious why he is off
  7. He really is a lager than life character
  8. Pretty good analysis IMO. Thought we failed to attempt to hit Pellè enough, though a lot of that would likely be that he was being effectively marked out of the game. Id of liked in that case to see him drift wide a bit to pull their defence around. Or try running at them as opposed to hitting long diagonal balls that were being swallowed up by their fullbacks. They had a game plan and it worked, we were poor but still got a point, its not the end of the world.
  9. Fonte definately pointed, but playing Devils advocate Id of suggested that Toby would have got there if Forster hadnt have rushed out. He 'avoided' the tackle only because he saw the onrushing keeper IMO, and tried to avoid a mix up, unfortunately it happened anyway
  10. Not entirely sure how accomodating a 'tidy' CM would have helped us break down 10 men but its all opinions I suppose
  11. Thanks Tim, was thinking about a refurbed machine, looked at a couple on Ebay, Ideally I want something a touch overpowered as that way its likely to last a little longer. Again Im not bothered about it being refurbed or anything else, its litterally going to be an FM machine
  12. This I fully expect you wouldnt get an awful lot more than 5m or so, maybe a tad more towards 10 perhaps. But all in all signing him up (which will include a signing bonus) would be pretty pointless. For me its quite evident that the situation suits us both. He is effectively acting as our back up right now and is able to negotiate with anyone he sees fit with in the summer. He will be on very reasonable wages, if you have (potentially) reed and JWP waiting in the wings whats the point of tying up 40k a week or so in the off chance you could get a transfer fee ? The FFP changes that.
  13. Its a small quandry, I require a laptop that will enable me to play Football manager effectively for atleast the next 2-3 years. It doesnt need great graphics, as I dont really bother with the full match or even highlights. I just need it to be able to cope with a huge database and load quickly. I have a works laptop, so dont need to do any work on the new one, it will be purely a FM platform. (No i cant load fm on the work one) Question is, whats the cheapest, but best practicle laptop to buy ?
  14. Chromecast pretty much covers all its bases tbh ! If you have that it doesnt matter !
  15. You ok now ? **** me you must me an absolute joy
  16. I think LED is the way to go but Im no expert, Ill also suggest going with a smart TV, even if it costs a franction more.
  17. Wait till Black Friday and see what the deals are
  18. This is the game for a midfield 3. Cork for Mane. Hopefully Davis is fit
  19. I dont understand why, if a team gets compact and defensive, that you dont mix up your crosses ? We tried far too many floated crosses that Okore and Clark swallowed up, I get that Pellè is a beast but mix it up, swing in some low driven ones, catch em out and keep them guessing
  20. I did wonder why we let Gaston go, maybe when Jay was back, but not right now. Our bench is painfully thin in attacking positions. Personally I just dont think Cork would cut it there, he is decent enough and consistant, but wouldnt have added anything today IMO. We could have done with a Jay or a Gaston, just to add something different
  21. Im not saying he isnt an option, he is, and is a good player. But why everyone all of a sudden thought he could play the No.10 tonight is beyond me, he cant. His inclusion tonight wouldnt have made a difference as the midfield were just passengers. Davis we missed, Cork we didnt. There is a reason that Cork hasnt got a new contract, its the other 4 CMs that can play in that position (granted he is better than two of them)
  22. Well he isnt, and so Cork isnt first choice. Davis is
  23. Davis yes... Cork no
  24. Your english got better quickly Hi glasgow
